Item analysis refers to the statistical methods used for selecting items for inclusion in a test. This app can be used for the selection of items for an assessment tool based on their discriminating power. The app calculates the t value as a measure of the discriminating power for each item in the draft scale. Items with t value greater than or equal to 1.75 is considered to have significant discriminating power (Edwards 1957) and can be selected for the preparation of the final scale.We are currently offering version 1.4.
