She would always ask me to come and walk together, firstly we don't live in the same neighbourhood to walk together, and I enjoy my 40 minute walks and am not in the habits of thinking, great! lets walk 1 and a half hours! One lazy Saturday I said OK I'm coming, lets walk. I had checked the distance and announced that if I had enough after my 40 minute I was stopping, Measuring the distance to be back by her house vicinity. It immediately became obvious that she was strolling, there we where sport shoes and clothes... strolling! I asked if this was the way she always walked her walk, yes it was. I told her to pick up her passe and breath and keep up and started walking. By the end of the block her muscles were burning, good I said now we are burning fat, by the end of the 40 minutes in the late afternoon sun we were in a sweat, and ready for home. I never walk till I'm ready to drop, my route from my house to the beach, up and down that road and home is 40 minutes, that's what I do, that's what makes me feel comfortable and it shows results.
Limit drugs and medication. Never do this if they are prescribed medications. But we tend to have a pill for this and that at home and these are the pill/drugs that we are referring too. Once you get detoxed you will feel better and have no need for self medicating.
Dealing with Stress effectively. Easier said than done. Walking will de-stress you too. Meditation, and positive thought patterns will make a change in stress levels.
