After studyng the needs of the people with disabilities, we found that there is a great need for building up an international center for physical therapy and rehabilitation
Accordingly, an area of 17 acres was dedicated by cairo university for physical therapy college to build up this project
An intial image to the center was described as it will include:
• An integrated physical therapy center including different medical specialities
• A center for rehabilitation of people with disabilities
• A factory for industerial parties and prothetic devices
• A school for people with disabilities on an area of 30000 meters including academic part and professional part
• An amusment park designed for people with disabilities to be used in entertainment and treatment
• A group of resturants to be used by the patients and their families
• The center will be able to receive up to 2500 outpatients and 900 inpatients
• The center will be supervised by professors in all medical fields
• The presence of transportation system to transport people with disabilities to and from the center
• A unit to provide continous home assistance
• It also include conference rooms and research labs
For this purpose rehabilitation institution cairo university (RICU) was built up, registered in the ministry of social affairs by (55577) on the date of 6/8/2013
An account in faisal islamic bank-giza branch in Egypt was dedicated for donation with the number of (110536)
This is a national project not for profit


بعد دراسة مستفيضة لإحتياجات ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة وقلة الرعاية الممنوحة لهم ومن منطلق المسؤلية الملقاة على عاتقنا وجدنا الاحتياج الشديد لإنشاء مركزعالمى للعلاج الطبيعى وتأهيل ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة.
وتم السعى بكل الجهد للحصول على قطعة أرض حتى وفقنا الله لذلك وتم منح قطعة أرض بمساحة 17 فدان تبلغ قيمتها مايقرب من 400 مليون جنيهاً تم تخصيصها من جامعة القاهرة إلى كلية العلاج الطبيعى لإنشاء هذا المشروع العملاق. وتم عمل دراسة الجدوى .
•وتم وضع رسم مبدئى للمركزوالذى يحتوى على:
1-مركز متكامل للعلاج الطبيعى فى التخصصات المختلفة.
2-مركز لتأهيل ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة بكل أنوع الإعاقة.
3-إقامة مصنع للأطراف الصناعية والأجهزة التعويضية.
4-مدرسة لذوى الاحتياجات الخاصةعلى مساحة 30000 مترمقسمة بين التعليم الأكاديمي والتدريب المهنى.
5-لأول مرة فى العالم سوف ننشئ مدينة ملاهى والعاب ترفيهية مصممة لذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة للاستفادة منها فى نواحى الترفية والعلاج.
6-وجود مجموعة من المطاعم الخاصة للترفية على النزلاءوأسرهم.
7-يستوعب المركز 2500 مريض خارجى و900 مريض داخلى (مقيم).
8-يشرف على المركزأساتذة متخصصون فى جميع ا لمجالات وايضاً الاستعانة بالخبرات العلمية من الخارج.
9-وجود وسائل نقل مخصصة لنقل ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة من وإلى المركز.
10-وحدة لتقديم خدمات ومساعدات منزلية مستمرة.
11-يحتوى المركزعلى قاعات مؤتمرات ومعامل ابحاث.
هذاولقد تم إنشاء مؤسسة لاإعاقة لجمع تبرعات للمركز مشهرة بوزارة الشئون الاجتماعية رقم (55577) بتاريخ 6/8/2013 . ويعد هذا المشروع مشروعاً قوميا ًلايهدف للربح وهو
تابع لكلية العلاج الطبيعى – جامعةالقاهرة. ولقد تم فتح حساب بنك فيصل الإسلامى – فرع الجيزة – جمهورية مصرالعربية برقم (110536).
