Vice Verba helps students of Latin master verb forms. Players parse verbs and produce forms to earn togas. When enough togas are collected, an ‘imago’ of a famous dead Roman is unlocked. Collect all XII ‘imagines’, and don’t forget to flip the ‘imagines’ over to see their stats! Players can customize the game by choosing tenses, voices, and moods, and the presence or absence of macrons. The game increases in difficulty as the player’s skills improve.Vice Verba was inspired by the ‘Hoplite Challenge Cup’, a non-digital game created by Drs. Hardy Hansen and Gerald Quinn for the intensive Greek program at CUNY. Thanks to Dr. Hansen for his encouragement and advice at the earliest stages of development. Thanks also to the University of Winnipeg for its generous financial support.

Great app but it's no longer display properly on my S25 and I can't use it! I've tried reinstalling.

Galaxy S25 Ultra, navigation buttons overlap the app. Deeply dissapointed. Pro dolor est, maxime cupidus utendi sum!

This app is great for keeping up with basics. The addition of syncopated forms and irregular verbs would be nice, but otherwise I love it. EDIT: there are now irregular verbs!

This is an excellent learning resource. I've memorized verb conjugations much more quickly with this app than with the flash cards I made. I would be absolutely thrilled if you made a similar app for learning declensions.

Great, and it would be even greater with irregular verbs like esse, posse, ferre, ire, velle, nolle, malle, facere and fieri, and translations. Also, please add a macron to the 'i' in 'i-ae-a': now you need to click the 'ī', then 'i-ae-a', then remove the 'i'.

This app is perfect for practicing verb conjugation! It would be nice if there was a noun declension option/section as well. Opus bonum!
