Such a great idea! They are expensive, so I was hemming and hawing. I ended up with a 40% off sale one day and finally decided to pull the trigger. My best friend is 10 hour car drive away. We haven't lived in the same town since we were 16, we are both in our 50s now. She had her lamp stop working and contacted luvlink who were great with the warranty and she received her new one quickly. And now we are communicating every day again! I love these and it makes the day so much brighter.

Updated review; The app was doing better with the update and would even tell us what the person sent in case we missed the color on the lamp itself. However, now I don't even see the lamp light up or receive notifications unless I open the app itself to send my own color. Once I open the app I get notices that I've received a color but they could be colors that were sent hours earlier, or if they were recent, the lamp itself doesn't always light up. We have tested this, and updated firmware

Nice app layout. Easy to use features. Wish it connected to the lamps better. Have to be close to your WiFi router & make sure you have the correct settings. With a little help you might get lucky & get them working. Need them to give me my gift cards I earned through brand ambassador. They stopped working with them & even after asking for my earned gift cards to use them, then never replied to a single message. Not even a direct message through email or social media.

Really a flawed device. Can't tell you the number of times I'm being asked by family on this, Christmas Day, "did you get it". From unable to connect to we've found 0 devices, etc, etc. This was a great idea that has unfortunately in practice, been a failure. No need for anyone to have so much frustration connecting this thing, especially today. White flag waved, I give!

My long distance partner and I love this thing. it's so cute. it's a little bit of a learning curve and isn't as customizable as it could be though. for example, if you want to set the color of your lamp you get a color wheel, but if you are seeing up color codes you have to choose from a list. it also is very difficult to set up, but the staff is helpful when I had a problem. make sure to turn off your VPN (including adblock DNS) when setting it up since that was my issue

Colors for the codes are to close that it's hard to tell. And can't tell if one is already in use. More colors would be nice. Also to be able to do a pattern would be nice. The small how to guide in the box says I can do patterns but when I go to settings I do not have the option. App freezes after I use it once, close the app, and try to open the app later. It won't open. Have to force stop in settings. Overall though it's fun to send light communication to friends and family.

I have just downloaded the app after realizing that you cannot connect through the internet anymore. You have to use the app. How frustrating!! I get everything all set up, then it disconnects within a few minutes, turns off and I have to go through the process again. I had no problems at all when I connected through the internet. The other party has not been able to receive any lamps I sent and I cannot receive any either. Too bad. Loved my lamp before.

The lamp itself is great. But the app lets itself down. A full colour chart is required to choose from. As the sider bar is limited. Also allowing a full colour chart when adding your own colour messages. Having only a handful isn't enough & has too many shades of green. Suggestion of not having to go into settings to send message. Wish it was on the front page of the group & a widget, would be handy. A history of taps and messages would be a fantastic addition. A 5 star rating is achievable.
