This unicode keyboard is half the solution. It is excellent because it allows an easy way to input unicode codes, and even displays the character you encoded (if you have a comprehensive font installed). It fails because it gives you no way to browse the unicode characters when you cannot remember the exact code (sort of how you would put in emoji). It would be perfect if it could do both, but that's outside it's stated scope.

Useful, but needs improvement; for some reason, there's no shortcut to switch from the standard Samsung Keyboard to the Unicode keyboard, but there is for the other way around. Therefore, apart from the need for versatility, it's decent.

Thank you Mr. Wunderlich. Now I can type ☃ without the clipboard. My only complaint is the lack of adjustability (Layout, Toolbar, etc.) But aside from that, I love this app.

Exactly what I was looking for and works like a dream! After reading dozens of click-bait know-nothing blog posts advocating variations on "press alt" or sagely describing non-existent GBoard options I finally found this. Assuming you know what a codepoints and hexadecimal are this is probably what you are looking for too...

Does a simple job and does it well. If I memorise the codepoint for the char I want, I can punch it into Unicode Keyboard and get that char any time.

It's quick to load and does what it says. However, it is not open source. If this were open source, I'd give it 5 stars.

unable to delete certain symbols. upd.: it were a few random symbols I've tried after which deleted the app, can't recall now.

It would be nice to use the alt codes instead of hex codes for the characters
