only 5,000 downloads? (it pisses me off more people don't pay for the pro versions of apps. if you pay nothing, you should expect nothing) day by day, week by week, month by month this app is helping me block apps trying to send my usage data various places and using my resources (battery, ram, bandwidth, etc) to do it. they then sell what was never theirs to take to larger data miners, who sells to other data miners, .... & eventually various strangers to me know more about me than i do myself. sadly, that's a best case scenario. other connections it's blocking could have much worse intentions & outcomes. keeping this activity in check is well worth the price of admission. pay the good developers and buy the pro versions of apps when available. it's the least we can do.

AFWall+ is probably one of the most important apps on my phone. I like how I can leave an app's wireless capabilities off by default, essentially sandboxing it before allowing it to access the internet. My primary use case, however, is disabling access to data on my media apps. Without AFWall+, I would have drained all the data on my limited phone plan countless times. Definitely earned my donation, I've saved way more than $5.

UPDATE: Keeps getting better! PREV: AFWall+ is an essential app for the security and privacy conscious. I've used it for several years and am grateful to ukpriya (dev) for his/her/their work! If you're reading this, you should know that as of this writing, the app is still being actively maintained and it is well worth purchasing the donate version. If you seek to regain control of your device, this is one for your toolbox!

Excellent app. Only downside is running with EdXposed the app starts but does not work properly. You need to disable the log and re enable the log to successfully boot the firewall into action. I'm hoping this can be fixed in future, it works well once the firewall kicks in after restarting the log. Also the app could use a area which allows user to view a map of connections and their input/outputs. Along with a timeline also to separate out the log. Really good app! Recommend to anyone! Thanks!

I love this app. It is the primary reason I root my phone, and I've been using it for years. I tried this donate version 1) to support the developers 2) to be able to clone profiles (rather than having to re-enter profiles that are mostly the same). However, no success at all with the cloning function so I did a refund. ☹️ Hopefully it can be working sometime soon.

It is an absolutely must have app for rooted users. Allowing you to pick and choose what apps can and cannot touch the network as well as if they are able to see local is fantastic. Some of these apps dont need to be able to tuch the network and so i dont let them. For instance I use chompSMS and it can be riddled with adds but its a cellular messaging app so it doesnt need to touch the network. And keeping it from the network also help with the ads as the ads cant load thefore cant be displayed

I give 3 stars, cause the app worked on all of my previous devices but for some reason on my new S23 it doesn't work as intended. It applies rules successfully but they doesn't seem to have any affect. Which is a bit disappointing after paying for donate version. Can you please do something about it? I will gladly provide necessary information.

Allow all apps connected not matter the rules! Version 3.3.0 and OpenVPN. I tried to clean app data and import the rules but again it allow all app connect. I just see it days ago... Maybe weeks unprotected! I do not wait this for an important security app :(
