My company had bought a few of these media displays that use this app. After a couple YouTube videos I was able to make the signs work and get configured correctly. It was convenient being able to just use my phone and not drag around a laptop. Today 4/24/24 I went to use the App to do another media display and the app has changed. Much much harder to use and the ability to configure my screens is gone. This app is now worthless. Back to the laptop.

This company does not respect user privacy. Permissions to access location, camera, storage, and phone calls are required even if you are not intending to ever use those features related to them. I need to configure receiving cards in a sign. Novastar does not need to be able to access my phone call history to do that. I will not be configuring time or weather reports, nor sending any images to the sign. There is absolutely no reason to give this app access to any of my data for what I need to do. Other apps that desire permissions for specific functions will still allow you to use the rest of the app. This should be the same. I have uninstalled ViPlex Handy, permanently. I will be configuring the sign hardware instead with NovaLCT running inside a very restricted virtual machine on a laptop, and will be recommending that our client manage the sign media on an isolated PC in case their desktop software employs similar tricks. You do not get to demand access to users' data that is not relevant to you. Smarten up Novastar.

Does not allow you to specify IP address of your sign. This application is useless in all but the simplest networks. Also is very invasive with privacy. I need to program a sign. Why does this want access to my phone call records?

Previous version shows the "Name" of video file. This Version can't Even "preview" the videos. Cant add more than 30 videos into one solution. Cant set to play multiple solutions either there is no Update. I miss the old Version.

This up was embarrassed when this up has updated this month. All video and pictures does not locat i mean didn't see all picture into cp. I hope you need to improve and please fix this issues and more issues.

I updated my apps. But no screen config option. Maybe my android phone ver is not compatible. Some features are there but the screen config does not appear.
