Update: Deleting the "HS Easy Fly" folder inside the DCIM folder solved the problem. Now the FPV and control are back on my tablet. To use the physical controller instead of this app to control the drone, power on the controller and pair with the drone prior to clicking the "Fly" button of this app. While there are rooms for improvement, it's a functional app both for FPV and control. Original: Installed this app on a phone and a tablet. Worked on both initially. Now it doesn't work on the tablet while still works on the phone. Like the other user reviewed, connected to the drone's wifi without issue but no FPV, no control on the tablet.

My HS 161 has hundreds of hours on it. Of course I have replaced motors gears and props . It is a good drone that does an excellent job at it's stated purpose. Rugged enough to haul in your backpack, or luggage. Even a large pocket. Flying is extremely easy. And this drone is very steady. But there are a few eccentricities that can be navigated if you have a map. I have a few tips that will help most of the folks that are having difficulty with this drone. The rest should stick to a jenga.

Crashes often and won't save video feed. Extremely laggy fpv. Can't use on my Android LG G6. Please fix this app for Android. Also the app will not update the speed indication when speed is changed from the remote control.

This app and quadcopter needs serious help. I'm totally disappointed in both. I had much higher expectations from Holy Stone but seeing how my HS161 does not link with my Android and appearantly many other people's phones, really is making me have buyer's remorse and not highly to recommend these products. This app is very user unfriendly and gives little to none instruction on how to get it to link correctly to the Holy Stone hs161. Wish I could return this quad 😭

This app does not work with my Android phone. So we hooked up the drone and downloaded HS Easy Fly on my wife's iPhone and that worked fine. But I can't tie up her phone for flying the drone. Any suggestions?

Haven't had a problem with the App. I like my drone, it's not badfor 50$ if you want more advance stuff I suggest people buy the 300$ version.

It is fine, but needs a battery count (%). The UI could also be improved.
