Caused severe damage. Last three aligners seemed to hurt more. was told to sign forms before resolution. Ended up with a filling being cracked causing more decay and root canal. The tooth next to it that had a root canal and crown literally broke off in my fingers when I noticed my tooth felt loose. They have yet to respond.

Can't log in to the app. Customer support won't help. I started with Byte about 3 years ago now. In the beginning they were good. I guess they got popular because I haven't heard anything from them in over a year. I can't check in which is probably voided any warranty or service I have.

app is constantly missing the deadline to remind, resets my treatment plan, doesn't let you have it open or accessible while using the help menu so when they need screen shots you have to close out, take screen shots, then start a new chat with a new agent. Checkins need to switch. the order they do the pictures so you don't have to put your aligners in and then take them out and then back in again.

A frustratingly buggy mess. The most important features - tracking the status of your current treatment plan, when to switch aligners, and hyperbyte usage - all get totally out of sync and present incorrect or conflicting information. Certain pages in the app like hyperbyte info are impossible to go back from without force closing and reopening the app. Byte, if you are going to mandate using an app (eg for check-ins), you NEED to make sure it actually works!

it's not a great program. the aligners work for small fixes, gaps, and/or straightening your teeth. Byte is currently going through some sort of legal issue because the orthodontist group they use weren't able to see problem areas with the patients first hand. luckily, I didn't suffer, as I only needed some straighter teeth. the customer service is bad. I purchased the extra protection and replacement plan, and they fought me the whole way. Nobody actually keeps track of your progress.

Teeth are jacked up after a 10 week treatment. Front teeth are so misaligned I've completely worn down one of my canines, sore jaw after chewing, and jaw not aligned. I received the recent recall notification, replied, and they refused additional treatment. Going to have to go the legal route to get this addressed. If you allowed byte to "sell" your financing to Splitit, neither one will provide you the proper receipt to be able to collect money from your HSA. Both will point fingers.

Edit: so some changes have been made and it's better but I still am not a fan of this app. Don't feel that anyone bothers to look at the check-ins... If they did I wouldn't be on my 2nd set of refinements. Frustrating app... It keeps screwing up my hyperbyte usage and it tells me that I've got 11 lower aligners and 5 uppers... I've got 12 and 6. Really don't like this app.
