Where has the Exeter parks local tennis league gone? I played in this 8 years ago when the website was called 'local tennis leagues' it was easy and a joy to play in, cost was £20 per round and there were about 4 rounds a year. Players signed up and our telephone numbers displayed so we could easily arrange matches, play them at any court in the area (often heavitree park in exeter) and afterwards the winner would submit the score onto the website and leave a match report, now all gone? Why?

Wow, they have updated the app and it is till dire. Treats ypu like an idiot, filling in all your matches with dates. No court booki g or discusaio. Just awful design and awful thought. Really sucks Awful The layout is poir, navigation is not sensuble. They will notify you of a messge, yet it does not appear in the app for over 24 hrs. A complete disaster. Thi k hard before joining, because they have no contact to ask for help

Doesn't work and poorly designed. Its so frustrating as a Software professional and a tennis player to see such a shoddy vision for the LTAs digital platform that should and could encourage lots of players to participate.

absolute garbage. Can't even log in at the start, it gives you the quick test then when it asks you how many years you've been playing it doesn't let you continue. rubbish waste of time.

Hopeless web app, constant errors, keep needing to sign in again, then the app keeps prompting me to install the app. Even though I'm in the app.

Whatever they did with the update 1 May 2025 has completely broken all functionality. Not possible to see any previous messages, results etc. Please fix this!

Yet again the app has stopped showing notifications. Meaning that if you send a message via the app, the recipient has to open app to see there is a message or possibly receive an email alerting them. The messaging system on this app has been plagued with issues from the start, which definitely should has been sorted by now!

After several years playing in the Nottingham Parks League, I'm quitting because I'm 70 and struggle with using the app. I'm still physically very fit but struggle with modern tech. Unless I can be supplied with opponents' phone numbers so I can continue to arrange matches via text, I will regretably be calling it a day. I think you have fallen into the trap of thinking everyone who wants to play competitive tennis is young and can easily understand modern technology.
