So good to have an app that I can use when visiting a new area to find all the decent pubs. Extra bonus is the beer blog which I can read at quiet times. If it could be made better - I would say that it's a shame that it's not available on my Nexus tablet. Maybe because it doesn't have a front facing camera so the QR-reader can't be used - but really that's just a small part of the app.

The update has ruined this app. The ale trail used to be fun now all the pubs I have visited have disappeared, what has happened to the prizes. Get it sorted to get a 5 star rating. Sorted it out, tapped on Worlds Biggest Ale Trail and everything reappeared. Found the prizes. Just need to navigate the app to find where everything is. Keep up the good work. Back to 5 stars.

App works ok, but the information is mediocre. The 7 beer descriptions I read were either written by the brewery or over enthusiastic. The local pubs I looked at had one photo at best and several with none. I don't understand why if the pubs are regularly inspected. The local accredited pubs are not on my places to go for an interesting real ale, but would suit people who like mainstream beer.

Really want to try this app out can't log in or register keeps saying failed to create account may already exist Try to log in and forgot password and it say account does not exist...pretty sure I've not registered before. Please help! *Edited Thanks to the developers, the login issue was fixed and the app works really well. One question though...after you have rated and favourited a beer can you access this list without searching manually?

You are very reliant on a phone signal in the absence of WiFi and the pub having an up-to-date certificate which is readily on display. To overcome the absence of signal, take a photo of the OR Code and scan it later. You may have to use your partner's phone or transfer it to another tablet or phone. Otherwise it's fine

When out of WiFi range I am unable to find pub locations or details even though WiFi, location and mobile data have been turned on. I have been unable to log a recent visit to a pub. I don't think my phone settings are incorrect as other apps work using mobile data.

does not work on galaxy tab but works on phone, did not have this problem with old app after latest upgrade does not work without some kind of data connection this makes some pubs totally unscanable so your new policy of not giving scans to people not on the premises is rubbish, come and try scanning the pubs of Chichester and you'll see what I mean

Since the app has been updated the option to scan a certificate without a data connection is not working. It used to put the scanned QR code as pending but now that function does not work and it does not save the scanned certificate so that it can be recorded against my account at a later time when i have a data connection.
