Very disappointed with SkyGo. Recently, using SkyGo on a Holiday Park WiFi to stream downloaded Sky content was a very frustrating experience. Slow, dropping wifi, requiring regular reconnects, We eventually gave up and didn't use the app. I tried this also using an USB-C to HDMI cable from phone to television screen. Every other streaming app works seamlessly, SkyGo starts, and then the screen goes black and nothing! Sky should do better with this app than what they're currently offering.

UPDATE FOR SKY GO:No point contacting you, tried it in the past and got nowhere, slow. Doesn't cast to chromecast anymore. Sky go channel is supposed to be free yet most (not all sky go programmes are available) of what is available, isn't available free! And you want me to want to be your paying customer? Being rude isn't the way to win us over...

Has this weird thing where ever so often it freezes and nothing plays. Killing the app doesn't fix it, I have to restart the phone. Subtitles would be a nice addition too.

Chromecast is nonexistent on skygo. Keeps asking to open app and doesn't confirm app is opened or installed as previously. Feel ripped off. Unable to chrome cast to TV for who knows how long. Customer Services unable to solve issues. Currently unable to watch any sport replays or contents from sky go. It worked though not at its premium a few days ago but to get zero coverage now...what the? After reading latest reviews, it seems previous issues are still unresolved. Sort it out Sky Go. 06/23?🤨

App used to be good, quality of live sports has gone from terrible to even worse, used to be able to watch in FHD but now the best I get is SD even with my fast wifi. One thing I might add to this is that just recently it seems they have stopped 2 people watching the same channel at the same time on 2 different devices, you can still stream on 2 different devices but on 2 different channels which is frustrating and frankly stupid. Me and my bro used to be able to watch NRL in 2 seperate rooms.

I would give the app zero stars if I could. Chrome cast barely works and when it does the lag makes anything you try and watch incomprehensible. Not user friendly at all and not produced well. Would not recommend to anyone in fact I actively try to encourage people to find other platforms to use.

I use this on an Iphone and an Android Smartphone. This is a companion app to the Sky TV paid subscription service. Functionality is good but the user interface is a bit medicre as you cant favorate chanels. You also cant use this unless you or an immediate family member who lives in your house has a Sky Set Top Box. I wish you could just pay a subsription to use the app without having to get the set top box as well. Generall love the app though.

I have Android 13 on my tablet and this app will not load even though Sky say that they did a fix in Dec 2023 for Android 13. Nothing has changed as at 9 September 2024. Nothing wrong with my log in details. On logging in the page tries to turn to landscape then returns to the home page.
