Pretty nice app, however it crashes whenever I try to open the settings on Android 6. On newer versions of android this doesn't appear to be n issue from my experience.

The app uses smart default and has auto system dark them. Plus, lightweight! Props for those. Unfortunately, i cannot properyly read the text. The purple, dark violet text is bad for reading as the contrast is very poor between background and text color. If this was fixed i could actually read in the dark. Rest is awesome.

This app is very useful for me to decide the power of a mobile because mobile which can play 8K videos will be having very powerful hardware... Omx.qcom.video. decoder. avc is very reliable tool to check the max resolution supported on a mobile.. I Use VR box for 5k and 8k videos and this app save lot of time. Xioami mobiles k20 pro beat Apple also in area of high resolution videos which can be played on VR box.

It appears to do what it says on the tin. I'm still trying to find/work out why most MP4 files won't play correctly: they did on the older phone but 90% won't play on the new phone with its 'upgraded' version of Android.

Love the material ui redesign, but there is some bug like the settings button being stretched while searching, back button makes the search gone also searching didn't work after it unless i reopen the app.

Great app. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Displays built in codecs, and if they're hardware or software. You just have to know what you're looking at. No ads!

11-14-19 Not able to dig in the VLC player codec nor KLite codec only android standard OS codec. Need a fix it transfer all copy codec to the correct android OS VIDEO and Audio directories.
