Provides a good simulation/emulation of the TI-58/59, without being an exact replacement for it: the app has a few additional features, and occasionally programs developed on the calculator won't run correctly in the app. I've used the app frequently over the past two years and its behavior has changed recently. It now forgets stored data, program, and settings between sessions. Otherwise, it's a great app, and I hope that the recent issues with it can be fixed soon.

This is a great TI-5x emulator. The only things I'd like improved would be a quieter feedback "click" rather than the printer sound, and the ability to save the feedback settings between sessions. Also although my original TI-58 does not have non-volatile memory, I believe the TI-58C model did. It would be great to be able to add the constant memory feature for the emulator so values could be saved between sessions.

This app is fantastic! I was fortunate to have the TI-59 calculator back in the late 70s while studying at university. It was my pride and joy, and taught me programming, which later gave me my career. I also had the good fortune to be able to publish a few computer games I had devised for it (using the text readout of the print cradle) in a magazine at the time. Very useful funds for a student! If anyone is interested in such ancient history, I may re-publish some of these.

This is an excellent TI/AOS calculator with the EE & ENG, and 1/x keys that I am so used to. My 3/5 stars have to do with usability. There is a loud and annoying keypress sound that I can't find a way to disable. The double line font is hard to read - solid would be better. And for those of us with low color vision, changing the red-on-black numeric display to a higher contrast combo would be helpful (although this is true to product). Love it but hard for an old geezer to use.

The calculator is good. It closely resembles the real TI59 and TI58C calculators. Please may the developer consider the following improvement(s): 1. To enable constant memory for all memory registers, like TI58C; and 2. If simulating TI59, consider adding the simulation of magnetic card storage which may save all memory registers as well as written programs permanently

A good, free, emulator of a classic programmable calculator. Includes 8 library modules and an emulated printer cradle. I've used it for about a month and everything seems to work ok. It also runs much faster than the ti-59 did, I reckon about 300 times quicker. So programs that could take minutes to run originally are completed in under a second.

I love this app. I owned a real TI-59 when I was in college (and still do). I appreciate that this emulator also implements undocumented features of the original TI-59 such as the HIR function. One particular program I ordered from the old PPX-59 group used this HIR function and other TI-59 emulators (e.g., for Windows) fail to support these features. This emulator also includes several of the Solid State Software Modules available for the original TI-59. So, five stars for this app.

Superb emulator, works a treat, made me feel "totally at home" with it straight away. Wish: What I would love to see is an option to somehow indicate that the "2nd" key is active; this was something I wished I had on the original TI calc! Thanks, lads
