Algebra for Beginners deals with several topics usually found in Elementary Algebra. It is essentially a game to introduce student to algebra.

Lesson & quiz
The game consists of levels, with lesson and quizzes available on each level.

Inside of each quiz in a level, player will be asked to find the missing value of an unknown number that is represented by a letter symbol (e.g: x,y). The lesson in each level provides player with the skill required to find the missing value.

To progress in the game level, player need to obtain stars in each available quizzes at corresponding level. Star(s) can be obtained by performing well in taking the quiz, implying that the player has already grabbed the level lesson well.

Problem pattern
Increasing level number represent more complex steps to find the missing value. Each levels may contains one or more sub level quiz with same level of difficulty but different patterns of problem.

Gradually increasing difficulty is aimed to teach skills needed to simplify an algebraic expression one pattern of problem at a time.

Pros: Really really fun way to refresh your algebra; or even just learn it to begin with. The text is clean, (usually struggle telling "=" and "-" apart on my phone. Not here) It's responsive and seems mostly quite stable. Cons: The ads, the ads, the ads. It's frustrating to try a level over and over again, just to have to sit through the same ad for the 20th time in a row. Sometimes I get ads up to 20 times in a row, sometimes not for an hour playing.

I will update my review if needed but through lesson 2 I have enjoy the simplicity of this app. It's a great way to learn the basics again while also getting into the complexities later. I know people complain about ads but at the end of the day it's a free app. Somebody spent their own time and money to make it. I paid to remove the ads at a very reasonable price. My only ask would be for an option to turn off multiple choice. I would like to type in my answer so I'm not swayed by the option.

It does the job, works. The design isn't very appealing, the operation code flashes after you press your answer, the wrong answer sound is a bit jarring, and I DeePly dislike the answer breakdown/explanation; not at all how I remember the rules of simple algebra being, but hey different strokes for different folks. Nonetheless it gives me the practice questions I was looking for and am Very grateful.

Alright, the problems.. where do I even start? The design of this app isn't the best. It doesn't look really appealing. Second, this app didn't teach me anything. These are simple algebra questions that keep repeating until a new question comes. (And before someone says, yes I am a beginner.) Third of all, the sound effects.. It's hard to even differentiate between if you got it right or wrong. It doesn't explain Overall, this app does what it should, but I wouldn't really recommend it.

it's good so far. For me, it's just math practice and refresher, but the lessons are clear enough - obviously not written by a native English speaker, but quite intelligible. The quizzes are (so far) neither too simplistic nor too challenging. I may revise this as I delve deeper. Only at level 3

This app is pretty good practice with algebra however, i got one question wrong out of 5 or 8 maybe? and I got 1 star out of 3, however when I get all right I get 3/3 so is there even a way to get 2/3? also the app design looks like something from 2018 and since that was 5 years ago I would've expected something more modern with the look. there are also some pop ups at the bottom and it doesn't feel really original. The practice could be used beneficially just the design and scoring.

Amazing app. Easy, great examples. The first app that could explain me basic algebra in simple way. Doesn't overload with advert, which is good. Design is comfortable, everything understandable and easy in work. By the way I added around 30 familiar apps, and only a few is useful. This app is one of them. Thanks to developers.

Design is very incompetent and takes getting used to every time I open the app. Example - the "x" is positioned so it looks like a variable. Therefore if you see y=9x-1 your brain may think it is a 2 variable equation when in fact it is just a poorly formulated simple multiplication without brackets or spaces or anything really to tell you that "x" is meant as a muliply sign in this case.
