Being unable to access BackThen by computer is simply the biggest problem and extremely inconvenient. Receiving an email while on my computer, I am unable to see the photo...what's the point? I must go to my phone to first open the app...it's ridiculous! If you truly want BackThen to succeed going forward, I suggest you take seriously the numerous complaints regarding the inability to access from a computer, and upgrade this service to enable this. If Lifecake could do it, so can BackThen!

The Timeline and upload convenience are stellar for this app. I'm dissatisfied with the 'What's New' feature because it's almost all favoriting by family members who ❤️ *every* single picture, and I have to scroll forever to see recent uploads and comments. The one thing that could make this a five-star app is if there were filters that could be applied to 'What's New' such that I could see all activity by default but then have the ability to filter out favorites and see just new uploads.

I loved Lifecake, and am enjoying this app just as much. Transferring everything has been easy, and the user experience is the same, so there is no learning curve in using the new app. The only thing I wish they had was a website for my family and friends who don't use smartphones or would prefer computer options. Hopefully that will be integrated soon because I really did like having the option to use both platforms.

We have used this app (life cake) for 4 years. It's a great service for quickly and adding photos that are easy to access for all of our family members. I wish there were better options for making hard copies of the thousands of photos and videos. I'd love an option to make a photo book that fits hundreds of photos, or a CD or thumb drive with all the videos on it. The books available before were so short, only 20 pages.

I cannot upload files while the app is running in the background, otherwise the uploads fail. When the files are large this means that I need to wait forever on the app without having the chance of using the phone for something else: in this case I also need to be careful not to have the automatic screen lock.

New app is the same as Lifecake, really easy to use, very intuitive. Cheaper than Lifecake as well! Now that Cannon have pulled their support for Lifecake with NO notice. Not a good job by Cannon I won't be supporting them in the future. I truly appreciate that the developers have produced a new app so we don't lose all the photos saved on there. Also it was easy to convert and family and friends didn't have to learn new functions on a new app. Yes it cost but worth it for the joy it gives my friends and family!

Completely useless unless you want to pay a surprise fee of $4.99, which you arent told about until after the app is downloaded!!! If you guys had been honest about the cost, i genuinely would have paid it just to easily keep all of my pics and videos in one place... But when you surprise me with one cost i already know that there will be more surprise costs in the future!!

App works fine, but no desktop option is a deal breaker. Many relatives prefer to view pictures on their desktop and laptop, so without the ability to view on anything but a mobile device, we won't be using back then for our son's photos. The transition from LifeCake to backthen was disappointing in all accounts, especially this one.
