I'm giving 1 star because it still delivers useful and prompt notifications. Otherwise, I would've given 0 stars if possible. I haven't been able to open the app in 4 months now! Attempting to open it whether by clicking the app icon or a notification is never successful. I've cleared cache and force-stopped it so many times without success. I'm still keeping the app because of the notifications. The app, which was bad before, is now much worse!

Talk about not ready for prime time. I've been using this app to follow my sports teams for years. Now they've updated the app for a completely different look and feel. It doesn't appear to actually do anything new other than not work. It constantly gets lost, fails to update anything as sports events happens, and then locks up. Occasionally, closing the app and restarting will work, but mostly that doesn't work either. Great job BR Sports app developers. 😵💫

Got the update now nothing works. Thanks... for nothing. Update - I see what they're going for with a refreshed and sleeker interface. But every time you click on something, you have an 80% chance of getting the "something went wrong" message. The app, as it is now, is practically unusable. I'm uninstalling this and maybe check back in a few months to see if it gets a better upgrade (or preferably a downgrade to what they had before).

I've been using Bleacher Report for around a decade or so now, and this current iteration is by far the worst. The number 1 issue for me is that since this update, I get zero notifications of ANY news. I've shuffled around phone and app settings multiple times, and still nothing. B/R was a clear #1 on keeping you up to date. Without that, I feel no need for the app. Hoping things turn around soon. The new layout seems promising, but at this moment, it's pointless.

This was my main source of sports new, and likely will still be, however this newest update completely changed the look and more importantly the flow of everything. Before this, everything was in a fairly easy place to do everything and navigation was easy. Now it's clunky and what made the app unique had either been downgraded, removed, or just impossible to find. BR go back. Some of the more minor changes can stay, but overall this doesn't represent the app that so many people use and enjoyed.

The app wasn't perfect before this new update. It had its quirks but the format was fine and the end-user experience was manageable. With that being said, the new update is a hot mess. No one asked for this. Bad interface. Users are not getting notifications or alarts. The overall layout just doesn't work. I understand that sometimes change is good but to completely change something just for the sake of change isn't always the best move. Alot of users are upset and will be moving to other apps.

"The new Bleacher Report" app is trash. Crashes on almost every load. Is slow to load. Utter disappointment. Once I did get in, the UI is terrible. A complete visual downgrade. Seems like there are less options than used to be available and the first thing I see is all the news I don't care about. The app was great before this change. Way to screw things up. 👌

Will uninstall if it's not fixed. This new update is pure trash. Not a single article, social page, or even box score will load. Just an error and a refresh option that just provides another error. B/R was the best sports app for years. It wasn't even debatable. This completely ruined it. Seems small to be worked up over an app, but after having dumped countless hours into it and it becoming my go to for daily sports conversations, I'm pretty mad about it. On to ESPN I guess.
