Frequency Generator - Professional Audio ToolkitGenerate precise audio frequencies, binaural beats, noise, and more with this comprehensive audio generation app. Whether you are testing audio equipment, experimenting with sound therapy, creating sound effects, or cleaning your phone's speakers, Frequency Generator has everything you need.
🎵 Main features
Single Oscillator
Generate pure tones from 1 Hz (infrasound) to 22,000 Hz (ultrasound) with precise frequency control. Choose from multiple waveforms including sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth. Perfect for audio testing, speaker calibration, tinnitus relief, or scientific experiments.
Multi-Oscillators
Combine multiple oscillators to create complex harmonic sounds and chords. Layer different frequencies and waveforms to experiment with acoustic phenomena and interference patterns.
Synthesizer
Craft your own sound and play musical notes on a full-featured synthesizer with customizable tuning frequency (A4). Perfect for musicians, composers, and music students.
Binaural Beats
Create and experiment with binaural beats for relaxation, sleep or meditation. Best experienced with headphones.
Sweep Generator
Generate frequency sweeps, ideal for speaker testing, room acoustic analysis, and finding resonant frequencies. Add multiple sweeps and create loops.
Noise Generator
Generate white noise and other colored noises. Includes advanced effects like auto-pan and breathing for enhanced relaxation and focus. Great for sleep, concentration, or masking unwanted sounds.
Bass/Subwoofers Test
Test your audio system's low-frequency capabilities. Find out how low your subwoofers, headphones, or speakers can go.
Speaker Cleaner
Remove water from your phone's speakers using specific sound frequencies. If your speaker sounds muffled after water exposure, this tool can help eject the liquid.
DTMF Tone Generator
Generate dual-tone multi-frequency signals used in telecommunications.
SFX Generator
Create random retro-style sound effects like coins, lasers, explosions, jumps, and more. Save your favorite sounds as WAV files.
⚙️ Advanced features
• Precision: Supports decimal values (e.g., 7.83 Hz, 432.1 Hz, 528.5 Hz)
• Advanced Effects: Vibrato (FM), Tremolo (AM), Ring Modulation (RM), PWM
• Stereo Control: Independent left/right audio balance
• Presets: Save and manage your favorite configurations
• Audio Export: Export your sounds as high-quality audio files
• Background Mode: Continue playing while using other apps
• Timer: Automatically stop playback after a set duration
⚠️ Safety & Usage information
Hear Safely
Always use this app responsibly and keep volume at reasonable levels to protect your hearing and audio equipment. Low frequencies may sound quiet, so if you increase volume to hear bass tones better, remember to lower it before playing higher frequencies—perceived loudness varies significantly across the frequency spectrum.
Mosquito Repellent Disclaimer
Scientific studies have consistently shown that ultrasonic frequencies are NOT effective at repelling mosquitoes. While some apps claim to work as mosquito repellents by generating ultrasounds (15,000-22,000 Hz), there is no reliable evidence supporting this use case.
🎯 Use cases

Theoretically not bad, but it sometimes plays ad music in the background, which you can't stop. Makes it unusable. Also, will sometimes randomly stop the sound. Then you have to restart the app. Big plus: Can run in the background, so you can play the sound even when the phone is locked. UPDATE: No ads with sound anymore, plus also other sound apps get randomly killed by the system.

This is the best frequency generator on the app store for sure! Update: just looked at all the low ratings complaining about ads.. lmao! I was gunna pay the less than $5 instantly just because that's what you do when you hate ads. At least it's super cheap to remove ads forever. Broke people complaining about ads lmfao not even five bucks come on.. It lets you run 3 diff frequencies at the same time! Wow it's exactly what I been looking for. Had to do a good review for once.

Pretty good. Easy interface. I haven't tested the accuracy yet. I HAVE purchased the paid version (I support developers). It would be an improvement to put the timer on the main interface, and possibly add the timer setting to the preset. And, when selecting a preset, show the name on the interface. But for a $2.99 app I'm satisfied with this purchase.

This is not only fun, but a very useful and accessible app. If you like to experiment in scientific ways with electronics and audio, you need a frequency generator and this will give you a very good one at that. A very wide range of frequency is possible, limited only by the audio circuits and speaker in your device. Sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth waveforms are all possible, and can be tuned precisely to any musical note - making this app useful for musique concrete production techniques.

works great on an old lgv20. I purchased the app to support the developer because it works so well for my needs. It has so many controls, and the paid version adds more. I really like the frequency sweep that plays each frequency span youve input in the time you want. Awesome! And having 3 noise choices is perfect. I tried 4 other apps and chose to keep this one.

Developer doesn't reply. The main thing I would like to see added is the ability to import and export presets. My current phone that I saved my presets on cannot be rooted and some of my other devices do not transfer the presets when restoring from a Google backup. It would be nice if the ability to do more than 3 frequencies at a time in the multi frequency generator was added. Also if the ability to go higher than 40hz for the bass frequency in the binary beats generator was added.

I love your work, great app but you need to remove the noise from the tones, they will cause tinnitus at even low volume, your signal to noise ratios are all wrong, if you sort this I will pay good money for it as its a great tool...but cannot use it as it is, Please take a look. Also screen colour options would be good along with the ability to run 4 tones would be even better. Cheers

Epic app, I literally use it 2 hours a day in the background, and now sleep so 10. Purchase removes all traces of ads. Bonus: if you go to your phone's accessibility settings > sound and enable mono, the binaurals become isochronics. Plus then you can change the balance for said isochronic to affect one or the other frontal lobe of brain more or exclusively. Opposite to ear. Would be super if you could add a couple more length options to the shutoff timer for sleep, like 5, 6 and 7 hour.
