As you prepare for your vacation, download the ultimate cruise app! Available on all Carnival ships.Use the Carnival HUB app to share your cruise countdown with friends, then explore and book shore excursions, spa treatments, drink packages and more (restricted for adults). When the time comes, you may also check-in and obtain your boarding documents.
As you board your ship, connect to Carnival’s Wi-Fi to view what’s happening, weather, dining menus and more! Onboard internet purchase is NOT required to use the Carnival HUB app.

The app is functional for what you need it for. It can be a bit frustrating looking for things to do because it defaults to the next day. It would also be nice if changes in events, like which movie is playing, would be updated when possible. It would also be nice to add the in cabin movies so it is easier to find what is playing and when so you don't miss something if you want to see it.

Not a bad app, but sometimes takes too long to load, but that has more to do with a ship's poor wi-fi connection. Notifications are super slow and often don't even push to phone notifications which can be really bad for time sensitive things like digital debark process. Chat is the same way, does not push to phone at all, so have to check in-app to see if you got a message. Overall, not bad, but needs improvement.

It worked well for months until I was onboard and really needed it. I tried to activate the chat feature and it hung. It never worked again.. I have tried deleting cache and memory, reinstalling the app repeated to no avail. This made my coordination with companions a logistical challenge. Also, there are so many facets of the trip that are associated with the app, I was relegated to stand in line after line for assistance. The cruise was wonderful. This app created my only nightmare.

The Carnival Hub app is very handy to have when on the ship! This was our first time cruising with the app. It was nice to have the chat option however, the chat option was often lagging. You would get messages much later. Had to close and open, the app many times to get messages to go through, and only sometimes received notifications. Over all it was a great tool for scheduling and information.

The app was very helpful for knowing scheduled events and creating a personal list with reminders. Chatting with travelmates is convenient if you know to refresh the app often, otherwise messages are delayed. The app is great for many things including dining room reservations and status of charges. The biggest downside of the app is that it needs to be refreshed often and it disconnects often. As long as you realize the issues and check connectivity often, all is ok.

Here is an incomplete list of issues we encountered: • Almost everyone in our group of 20 lost their entire chat history at some point. • The app was occasionally convinced that it was a different day, which made scheduling things weird. • There was obvious missing data everywhere (the weather saying it was 0°C, for example). • It didn't actually ask for notification permissions, and once I gave it permissions it only occasionally told me when I had a message. You have to use it, though.

HUB served it's purpose for our group. A budget friendly way to stay connected while on board without everyone having to purchase additional WiFi. Convenient way to navigate daily activities, account information, and reminders while onboard. Yes, there were moments when sending and receiving messages was delayed, but nothing major and still worth it.

The app is very good in plan. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as well as it should (I think it's actually the ship Wi-Fi) Messages don't send well, and notifications only happen if you're in the app. Menus for restaurants don't always work and are not clear. What is being served on the buffet should be listed and isn't.
