I actually purchased this book. Cryptkeepers of Hallowsford takes place six months after the events of Hero of Kendrickstone. Hallowsford is a small town with a secretive guild in power and in need of help. Currency isn't as useful in this game as the first and my playthrough had the book of madness in it. The plot was decent but the story seems the same regardless of your choices. Three different endings that felt short and to the point. It's a decent sequel but not as good as the first book.

Ehhh the first one was a lot better this one had a lot of continuity errors and well the gameplay just didn't feel as good or as engaging. For example when you learned that you can take care of the monsters by destroying their joints the game acts as if the only way to kill them is with your book of madness.

Oh you got a legendary golem slaying sword from the first book??? Well that's too bad, the mobs on this book are conveniently immune. You get knighted on the first book and get a small retinue??? Well that's too bad, you're going to the crypts without them. And so on and so fort... Very disappointing.

Good beginning and end, wish the middle was more interesting
