While this final story in the series has a lot going for it, I can't help but be miffed that the editor decided to end it on a cliffhanger. Apart from that, loading my progress from the previous games seems to have messed several things up: my main character in this duology suddenly had a new name, and Bright Magic and Lucky were suddenly the opposite genders. Money never had any use in the duology, so I have to wonder why it was even a statistic. TL;DR: a good read; not the best in the series.

The aggressive politics kinda ruins the immersion of the game. It wasn't interesting in it's own right, and tried to focus too much on whatever message the author was trying to convey that it just kinda became boring.

it was a great game fun and political whish it had a few more fight scenes but in general it had a good story and was a lot of fun but there was sometimes where I was scrolling down the screen and accidentally pressed a button and advanced the story by accident but other than that great app

So, I love the story, love the characters, but the social alagory stuff just fell flat for me. It makes the same mistakes as many works before it, comparing issues of our worlds discrimination to a fantasy world where there are actual differences between groups. What makes discrimination here so insidious is the fact it has no logical basis. But actual groups of others? Well it's the same problem with zootopia comparing black issues to well, litteral predators.

In trying to be less offensive it managed to be more offensive. Jury, because he's a privileged white boy, ends up being a boy toy to a pedophile. Or im sorry, not a pedophile because she's a woman and women cant be predatory, its just an example of how she's successful (sarcasm) disregarding the fact that she's at least twice his age and also his boss. Fyi people are more than a soapbox for you to virtue signal. I agree with the choiceofgames forum reviews (by ppl who have a lot of experience with text adventure games) that this game should be renamed to PROPAGANDA: ANTI DISCRIMINATION THE GAME because it certainly wasnt about superheroes. First trilogy was good if a bit railroady which is a shame because it shows the author could do better.

Most people play text-based adventure games as a means of escaping reality, and were hoping to play the part of a hero. Instead, we were forced to support politics some of us may not even agree with, in this game, and the heroes could probably be renamed to "Warriors", seeing as how all of this revolves around SJW propaganda. We have enough propoganda in real life, don't make us have to sift though it in games, too.

They made a super hero game boring, I'm surprised. The game is filled with social commentary - which is not a bad thing by it self - and cringy dialogue.

Honestly I feel like it lost that SAUCE from the Original Heroes Rise Trilogy 💔 if it could get it back...
