Got an exam coming up that involves electrical circuits? Do you find Ohm’s Law a bit confusing? Do you sometimes muddle up voltage and current?

Maybe you’re studying electrical circuits as part of a science/physics course - or maybe you’re just someone who finds electricity intriguing but puzzling. Either way, help is at hand. Oomph is a little educational app - with a 4-star review from Educational App Store - that can help you untangle those pesky electrical terms: voltage, current and resistance.

With its interactive examples, Oomph goes further than a book or a video. There’s one idea per screen and once you’re confident you’ve got to grips with that idea, choose whether to move on or drill down to reveal more of the story.

And if you’re someone who likes numbers and equations then the later sections are for you, with their interactive calculations.

Learn to love electricity - with Oomph.

I don't know why somebody'd rate this one star for. It does exactly what its description says it does. It explains circuits' current, voltage, and resistance in an effective, concise, easy to digest manner, with a little bit of humor sprinkled in. I'm actively on my way out of high school, but I can tell you this app would have been an amazing help for understanding currents for a class (i.e. Engineering). All in all, I think this app is worth more than the 1.49 this app is normally listed at :)

I think there should be more of these relating to the wonders of electricity!
