Web Summit’s app is your companion for the event Forbes says “bridges the gap between creativity and tech”. Keep contacts, content and your event schedule in your pocket before, during and after Web Summit 2025.Why should you download the Web Summit app?
- Plan your event experience before you arrive, with tailored recommendations for people you should meet and talks you should attend.
- Scan the codes of attendees you meet instead of swapping business cards. Connect with them digitally and retain your new connections after the event is over.
- Find your way around the conference with up-to-the-minute maps and content schedules.
- Chat with attendees over message, or arrange to meet on the event floor.
The app is also your ticket! You'll use it to access the venue, so make sure to have it downloaded before you arrive at the MEO Arena.

it's sadly poorly made. it used to crash way too often. been using it since first launched, now in 2019 there was too little improvement in ux and quite some in stability: it stopped crashing. however that should be a given and it's still very slow. also, technically, it shouldn't exist - a decent webapp would be more than enough! cheers.

The app is ok but there are a few optimizations and simple features that would make a world of difference. Switching between pages hangs for a few seconds, seems to not use cache efficiently. Every action seems to trigger content reloads. There could be a way to visualize if there are any scheduling conflicts in the 'My Schedule' page. It's not very efficient as planning tool (one of its purposes). Otherwise, it's a decent app and implements attendee networking and conference information well.

This app is better than 2016, when I last used it. The chat didn't work well though, it wouldn't load most times and my replies didn't go through. I would also suggest to lose or change the days' tab as they go on, it was annoying to change back from day 3 to 7 or 8. The internet worked a lot better, although it can still improve but kudos for that coverage, BTW.

The app is horrible. Firstly, it requests way too many permissions without even explaining why. Secondly, two factor authentication using the same device? Really? Thirdly, registration loop. And it's all for supposedly "largest tech event in the world". Shame on you.

Really smooth, intuitive, and polished app, and the new improvements for every conference never fail to impress, from the chat and connection features to the detailed catalogue and schedule of the event that you can use to earmark talks and create your own personalised experience. Unrivalled as far as conference apps go imo.

Great app, but.. I do not know why, but the search function does not work in the "Explore" part. Only 3 items are listed from all four. Categories (partners, startups, etc) However I can still hack the system if I choose the interest of any of the three listed participants (e.g. "health"), then the sw filters the participants who likes "health". I suppose this is not intentional, please fix.

When I first got the app, I was able to open ot, register, view schedule, etc. However, for the past couple of weeks whenever I try to open it, it always crashes. I sent the feedback to developer, but no action.

Horrible App. It lags so much and it is incredibly slow. Since it is for important events you would think that the app would be professional and well made. A 5 year old can make a better app that runs quicker.
