I downloaded this app to be able to record video while my teleprompter app is running in the foreground. I successfully recorded one video and it worked fine for my application. However, the next morning I looked at the list of files (there should have been one) and found the app had randomly recorded several hours of video, including me in the bathroom. I immediately uninstalled the app. I won't have an app on my phone that randomly (and unknowingly) records video.

Used this app for years and was great. Incorrectly uninstalled it and so put it back on and just won't stop recording. Have the volume keys set to off, and have hard keys set to off. Yet every time I touch the volume keys, it starts recording. It ironically will pay attention to the 1, 2, 3 volume keys setting, but even when off. So will try something else now, shame.

I would give this a 5 star rating but since I installed it, loaded it up and started a test recording I can't stop it. No matter what I do, the app will constantly keep recording even after I hit stop. Every time I hit stop it just starts up again automatically by itself. I have tried changing settings and nothing has worked. I CANNOT stop this app from constantly recording 24/7.

i wanted an app that would let me make smaller sized vids so they would be easier to send (at the cost of quality ofcourse). This app has many options for the size/quality of your vids. Its great. Only problem is i cant rename vids in the app, and when I rename them outside the app, then it fails to recognize them in the app. Not the end of the world.

Used to work, but the recording was often cut short. But now the app is unable to auto focus while recording. You can set the focus before recording, but it will stay at that for the duration of the recording. I don't know if this is on the phones end or the apps, but it's pretty annoying

Great app when it works. 1. Button press to activate doesnt work half the time 2. Videos dont save. Lets say i recorded 10 videos, 4 of those would be saved and the other 6 wont show in the gallery app but when i go to the recording app i can see that they are there but when i click one of them it says unkown error. 3. It randomly stops recording. For example if i record for 1 minute it stops at like 12 seconds If those problems get fixed it would be 5/5

Automatic upload works only if you manually stop recording within the app and it only works for the last video recorded (in case you enabled automatic splitting, which is additionally limited to 2 min minimum). This makes it unusable for recording incidents where you expect someone can steal your phone (robbers, corrupt police). Other than that it seems to work for basic video recording, but sometimes it breaks and continues recording until you force stop it.

This app seems to have a lot of promise. My specific use case is as a bodycam, so as to back up my word if needed. However, the inability to change the recording resolution impinges its usefulness in that regard, hence the low rating. This drains the battery and reduces the available memory too quickly to be useful for more than just short periods.
