This used to be a really fun game, beautiful clothing and fun challenges. Now it has been monetized to death, with loot boxes (where you can end up with nothing), purchase only hair accessories, endless expensive series challenges, etc. But now there are limited goals where the timing means people have to set alarms in the middle of the night to meet them? Ridiculous. My advice is don't play. It's expensive, stressful, and a huge time suck.

It would be a fun app if not for issues. It consistantly freezes and must be restarted, and there isnt a great selection of items you can purchase with "cash". The primary purchase power is in diamonds, which you have to buy to get any kind of selection. I am not sure what the "season pass" gets you because it hasn't given me much of a difference in scoring prizes. And to keep any kind of a decent rating, you must get in app purchases. Am considering uninstall. Restarting is very irritating.

I overall love the game - but I don't find it fair that the people who has been playing from the start got the chance to win hair accessories and props (free), but when you are new, you will have to buy all of them, if you want those that are old... There should be a limited-time challenge each week, where you should be able to get the oldest hair accessories and props. Also when you win 1 prop credit, you should be able to use it. Not first at 10 prop credits...

The app itself is perfect because there are no ads and I had fun styling away, but the context of it is so annoying. Every styling challenge has to do with either a witch, enchantment or a "spirit". It's getting really repetitive and tiresome. What happened to good old christmas carols or candy cane's without a bewitching linked to it? Ugh.

I have played this game every day for 9 years. I enjoy getting to do a challenge (or 10!) a day, building up my wardrobe and levels is satisfying. Today (11/23/24) the daily challenge's dress looked suspicious. If Covet starts using AI to render fake outfits or models for the challenges, I will quit. I don't want to quit, this is the only game I've ever played for so long, but I will. The general population does not like AI. Please, do not use it.

Started playing in like....2013 or 2014...stopped for a long time. Re-downloaded it in January of this year and play daily. I'm in a fierce fashion house and it's literally like you must eat and breathe covet because you won't win the rewards unless you do....and must max out numbers. Rewards are minimal, items are expensive. You must spend real money in order to win challenges. I'm thinking of uninstall and lose this financial burden sadly because I do love the game but it's just too expensive.

If you like fashion you would think this game was ideal, and at first you may insist that it is. Unfortunately most of the events are "season locked" which means you won't get the best available prizes if you use off-season items, which limits the options and makes a bunch of bland outfits to vote on. No idea why Covet would limit the point system in a way to exclude most of a player's closet and rob players of the fashion potential they wanted when they downloaded this game. EA do better.

I've been playing Covet almost ten years now. This truly IS the best fashion game I've found in that time. It has hundreds each of hair and makeup looks, and so many accessories I will never use them all. I stay up with fashion trends because they collaborate with real clothing brands. It is possible to move up the ranks of this game without spending money, but it takes a while. By joining an active fashion house, players win more prizes too. I've made a number of friends while playing as well.
