I love Plants vs Zombies! I'm a horticulturist, what's not to love. I've bought this game like 6 or 7 times over the years... I just figured out the problem with the ads, sharing here. Play through the ads until you get to 'Night level 7'. Once completed, you with see a car key on the Main screen labeled 'Shop'. Tap 'remove ads'... From there you can restore your ad free copy, or buy it sans ads for a paultry $2.99. best deal on the web! This is my favorite (only) game. Way to go EA!

I've been playing the game since I was a kid and I cannot realistically get sick of it, I stop playing and always get back to it after a while I do dislike the grind for coins but it's a minor issue in my opinion until the end game, but there's a few tricks to get coins that work well like planting daffodils and using a wall-nut or tall-nut to stall the last zombie. Overall everything about this game is great, 100% recommend to someone who hasn't played yet.

Loved the game before it played ads constantly. Begin a game...ad. Finish a game...ad. Want to play a bonus level? Well you're going to watch an ad first. Some ads require you to click 3 or 4 times to exit. Annoying. Sometimes you click the "x" and it tries to open the app for the ad anyways. Now I have to open my browser, close the page with the link for the app, close the play store then go back to the game. Oh wait, the ad is still there. Click close? Nope. Open link again. Rinse and repeat.

This game is a modern classic. The app appears to give you access to the whole game and doesn't push a cash shop on you. There is an ad before and after each level which is a bit annoying if you're playing them back to back, one ad should be more than enough. My chief complaint with this app is that the music and sfx are very quiet, if you turn it up loud enough to hear, then the ads blast you at like 3 times the volume of the actual game. It's a shame since this game always had great soundtrack

Really enjoyable game. Fun to binge on. However in the puzzle game, the endless challenge is just unreasonable, even Elden Ring is easier to adapt and strategize. The later stages are just made for you to lose and watch ads and lose again. Pretty pointless to even bother grinding to pay 150k coins to unlock a good challenge each

Loved this game so much as a kid now installed it back after many years to find ads after almost every round and before the round then 2.99 just to remove them? Really hoping they remove how many ads there are but not to confident on that. Love the game in general it's just the amount of ads that happened. There wasn't any ads when I was younger.

Well imagine my shock when I wanted to replay this and discovered the version I PAID for was gone and I was forced to pay for a version with ads. Feels like theft that I couldn't even download the paid version anymore. Just want to reiterate how it's theft to pay for no ads only to still come back and only have the version with ads available.

Honestly, I grew up playing this game and I love it so much. If it weren't for the insane amount of ads no matter what, it'd get a 5 star rating. And when I say insane, I mean it. You get an ad for clicking just about anything in the app. I'd understand if it were after every few rounds but before the game, after the game, getting to the main menu, etc is just a little bit much.
