DISCLAIMER
AlcoTrack: BAC Calculator & Alcohol Tracker is a drinking diary app to track your alcohol consumption, analyze your drinking behavior, and, ultimately, estimate your blood alcohol content (BAC). Please note that since your BAC is depending on many individual factors, this app can only give you a rough orientation. AlcoTrack cannot replace a breathalyzer or any other proper alcohol/drunk test. In case of doubt, you should never drink and drive! I do not assume any liability for the correctness of the results.

The thought & then execution that has gone into this app is beyond my understanding of how the body metabolizes alcohol. That is exactly what makes it so user-friendly. All you have to enter is what you drank and when. The graph, along with journaling, have helped me understand that the cravings get stronger the higher your bac. So unbelievably helpful in my moderation journey.

I've been using this app in a free version for several years, so I just had to buy it eventually to support the developer. The app is simple, but this simplicity is what makes it so useful. It is always easy to track you alcohol intake with just several clicks. Metabolism configuration shows whether it is safe to have another one or stop and saved me on numerous occasions.

Extremely easy to use and understand. Very intuitive interface, with the exception of adding a drink to your presets, there could be better user feedback for that function. There are many features that I love, in particular it's the estimated BAC. I use that to measure how soon I can have another drink. I'm a member of Moderation Management. This app has been very instrumental in moderating my alcohol intake. There are many other great features. I recommend getting the paid version.

If I had discovered this app sooner, my life would have been a lot better. Buy the lifetime sub if you want to moderate, but the app is also helpful to quit! You can track exactly how much, what proof, how full/empty your stomach is, and even record expenses. Plus it lists a lot of different cocktails so you can get just the right level of buzzed. Plus there is an experimental feature to prevent you from texting the wrong people (bosses, family, friends, ex's) when your BAC is over a certain %

Much improved from the last app I used but two major flaws. First, shots and double shots are half sized by default, which can lead you to a DUI. You need to add custom drinks and delete the defaults if this isn't fixed yet. Second, if you want to track a friend, you must change your own personal weight, height, gender, etc. and delete your own drinks. This app doesn't yet support tracking multiple people at once. The improvements over the other app = adding a start and finish time per drink.

Using this for a year now and it's really helpful in moderating and tracking alcohol intake both short and longterm. the data and graphs provided are great. i can't get the BAC calculator as accurate as it could be though, even after tinkering with various settings. tested against my $100 breathalyzer device. sometimes the app calculated my BAC to be much higher or lower than the BAC device i have. edit: only thing that could make it even better would be a "standard drink" calculator/converter

Excellent app. I like that it takes into account how long you are having one drink, and how chart shows peak BAC. Also appreciate the history record of previous days. It has helped me be more aware of my drinking habits and to moderate by staying under .05 consistently (which is peak enjoyment and avoids one building a tolerance). I don't drive and wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a driving ability tool. But it's excellent for building overall awareness of the effects of alcohol.

This is a great tool for staying knowledgeable and responsible with my drinking, and keeps me accountable, as I can monitor my intake in real time. Started with the free version and loved it, bought the app a week later, and it's been worth every penny! UI is reasonably intuitive, and the app has a great level of features and seems to be accurate in both BAC and time-to-sober.
