An unknown entity prowls the valleys and destroys everything in its path. Really enjoying the game so far. In chapter 3, after placing the skulls on the totems I am now trying to "join the dots" unfortunately several times now the lines just disappear, I press reset to no avail. This means I have to come out and start over. This has happened several times now, there seems no reason for this and is really frustrating. On further reading of reviews, it appears this is the final mini game and is a glitch, that's not been addressed. Therefore, I'm deleting the game

Probably the worst of the Lost Lands series, which I have enjoyed up until now. There is one puzzle that is impossible on my copy, involving a set of stone steps. The idea is to align the steps so they are equal length. When you push one step in, another pops out. Impossible on mine because there is always one step that is too short by one section and no long ones to extend it.

Not a fan of the chapters - makes it easier b/c they're shorter but harder b/c I mix up info from the previous one. Still lots of touch sensor issues. Clicked on the chalk 5x before it let me pick up. Archive room book cover rejected the same sequence over and over before accepting it??? A few puzzles are NOT straightforward but only have a cursory explanation. Still doing the dumb thing where I can't pick items up til later, still not writing clues in journal so I have to screenshot

I'm being slightly generous,too difficult for non techies. can be too vague on what to do and where to look. can't always watch an ad to get a hint. Of course you can spend money and keep playing. Sometimes the hint doesn't reveal what you can't figure out, until your frustrated. Then come back tomorrow. I like the game, I'm just not good enough.

I love the graphics, the mini games, and the challenging play. I do not like only having 5 coins to start the game. I don't like that there is no way to earn more coins. I don't like having to buy coins if I can't seem to get past a challenge. It would be great if the hints recharged or you got coins if you get through a challenge without using a hint....

I continue to enjoy games from this developer. As always, graphics are great, story interesting. As with Lost Lands 8, it was frustrating not being able to pick up items & instead going back & forth to get them when needed. Some puzzles were very challenging, some I hate so I dig up a walkthrough. I found the puzzles less enjoyable than some in others but I appreciate the variety and new puzzle types to try.

This is one of my top favorites of the Lost Lands series. Having a chance to see what came before the main events adds to the lore and overall experience nicely. It builds on previous games to see Cassandra before the events of the sixth game and to see the dynamics between her and Maaron. As always, the puzzles have just the right amount of challenge, being not so easy that they feel pointless, but not so difficult to make players want to give up or skip it.

love the land series however there are a couple of serious frustrations with this one. finding the chameleons keeps taking you to the next scene. The puzzle on the tower with the rings - you get the ring in place, remove your finger and the ring rocks back. I think it looks exactly right but it still doesn't register as correct. I won't be playing this one again.
