SIM Manager is a lifesaver for anyone needing to manage their SIM card contacts efficiently! The app is straightforward to use, allowing easy backup, restore, and transfer of contacts between SIM cards and devices. Its intuitive interface makes navigation a breeze, and the backup feature provides peace of mind in case of accidental data loss. Plus, the app is lightweight and doesn't hog device resources. If you need to manage your SIM card contacts hassle-free, this app is a must-have!

I was having trouble with this continually popping up with "SIM manager keeps stopping." Google support was unable to help in two hours. I resolved the issue by clicking uninstall, which actually just downgrades to the factory version, then in the three dot menu checking "no automatic updates," then rebooting. Now everything works. For some reason the update broke my phone and kept getting automatically installed until I did that process.

Just switched to Google Fi. Brand new Pixel 4a 5G. This app pops up roughly once a minute with a crash report. None of the options do anything. Force close doesn't delay the next pop up. Sending a crash report so far does nothing. I have tried to update the system and the app and nothing seems to help. I can't find a solution to this problem. Please fix this issue. Update: I uninstalled this app and my phone is working fine without issue. I turned off the autoupdate so it shouldn't come back.

Like others, I woke up several days ago to find this update on my Pixel 5. Now I have constant problems sending and receiving texts from/to iPhones. Multiple copies of the message get sent, of they send at all. Please fix this, Google. This is not my problem and using text is the thing I use most on my phone. Uninstalling the app, disabling auto updates, and using Wifi texting only is not solving the problem.

Since the Android 10 update my ESim has become corrupted/deleted and I am unable to redownload it. Sim Manager immediately crashes at the "Setting up your phone" page or freezes at the "Checking network info..." page. I have ever one received one error, other than the crashing, Google For not activated which led to "Device EID not found". But imagine that, the app has no way for me to make sure that the EID (presumably the ESIM ID from the box) is updated in the phone...

I wonder why it connected to the internet allot, according to my firewall. I uninstalled it via Google Play, and notice it has been reinstalled by (I assume) Google, ok my Pixel 3xl android. switching off permission at app list makes no difference to Internet check-ins. I do not think I need this app, but might be wrong.

This app was trying to auto update but I never have my WiFi turned on, I'm always using my cellular connection. So naturally it couldn't finish updating. Was causing me to lose my cellular connection. Very frustrating. Once I realized this update was pending, I stopped it. Turned on WiFi. And then updated. Finished updating in a flash and now no more connection issue. Everytime I turn off app auto updates, they come back again after OS update. 😩

I hate the way google apps run incessantly in the background regardless if they are even in use. I want the option to disable unnecessary overlays that prevent default usage of the aosp base.
