Tango Core is used to update the Tango framework. This component provides core functionality for Tango applications. Tango applications will not work if you uninstall Tango Core.Project Tango Core also installs the Tango Permission Manager application, which allows you to see the applications that you have granted Tango permissions to and to revoke these permissions if desired. Do not uninstall Tango Permission Manager, as it will also uninstall Tango Core.
Note: This application requires a Tango-compatible device to run.

Given that Tango was first introduced in 2014, this technology is still more or less unusable. Sensors quality is low resolution, how to use the sensors data is barely documented and applications seem more like experiments than being useful. In addition to that, it's retired (abandoned)

Another example of Google inventing something awesome and then just kinda forgetting about it. There's so much potential for Tango, but very little software support from Google or 3rd parties.
