Dieting disrupts both your mindspace and your hunger cues. Instead, when you “stay in the gray” you avoid over-eating and under-eating; which BOTH lead to carrying extra weight and the inevitable chaotic eating. The Peace with Food App uses a specially designed Rhythm Tracker that helps you check-in with your body throughout the day (you choose the frequency) and at each meal/snack. This will help you become intentional about tasting (yes, tasting) and enjoying your food while focusing on your hunger and fullness cues. Beautiful. This is peace with food.
Free up your mindspace and re-discover the internal rhythms of how your body was made to taste and enjoy food. End the guilt and regain confidence in what your body was made to do.
Features:
+ Exclusive access to the growing library of Peace With Food Videos…Intuitive Eating professionals answering your most asked questions.
+ Rhythm Tracker guides you to “stay-in-the-gray” throughout the day.

Good but needs more work. My main issue is that hunger is a spectrum, and the check-in goes from "ready" to "very" hungry" and so often I feel something in between. Also I often feel over-full and hungry / not satisfied at the same time. Tjis app doesn't have the option to record tjose nuances. Also the check-in doesn't work without Internet, which can be a problem.

I really love the idea of the app and it's been a great help but there are still some bugs. The reminder often pops up earlier in the day than the set starting time (so it woke me up :( ) and sometimes I wasn't able to add notes to my check-ins. It would also be great to be able to have the option to add your mood to the check-ins.

The journal part worked for about a week then quit working. I uninstalled/reinstalled still isn't working. It would be nice to have access to a video library of their podcasts. There is a spot that says "videos" but the only video is an introductory to the app. I like the being present aspect and the reminders. But over all it's not worth $80 a year without the journal or a video library. I will not renew next year unless they get there issues worked out.

To fully appreciate this app, its important to understand the heart and premise behind its creation, which is intuitive eating. Whether you are just curious about what intuitive eating may look like for you or you have been practicing this way of nourishment for a long time, this app is an AMAZING tool to help keep the user in tune with their body's cues. The simplicity of the app actually reflects the gentle observation given to hunger and fullness cues during the IE process.

This app is only OK. The reminders to check in with your hunger levels are good but the graph to show your rhythms are laughable. It's just a wavy line with no explanation about what the graph is showing, the axis aren't even labelled! Really really needs work to be even kind of useful.

Love this app! Someone who has got over a Ed. And understands emotional eating yet come Christmas it all went abit crazy in the head shall we say as it always does . which lead to alot and weight gain and an Ed mindframe returning amongst other things . This app helped me tune back into my bodies signals , get out of the mindframe that had comeback over Christmas. I will continue to use it and recommend it to anyone struggling with food relationships in general

I like this app although you do have to pay to use half of it... For free it's still good for checking in with your hunger/fullness level through out the day though! The one I would love to see updated is the ability to edit the rythms you have already logged. Incase you logged by accident or if (like me today) you log that your comfortably full but then realize 5min later that actually your too full.

Woah this app is bad. It crashes multiple times a day. Asks me to start my day over in the middle of the day. Won't let me check in. I already uninstalled and reinstalled. Just sad I spent the 9.99 before I realized it was dysfunctional.
