自从织女被带回天界,牛郎织女只能七月七日在鹊桥相会，年年如此，转眼几千年过去了。公元二零一九年七月的一天，住在人间的牛郎如往年一样，等待着七月七日的到来。王母娘娘得知每年七月七日牛郎织女都会相见，于是勃然大怒，于是驾云来到人间，念起法诀，瞬间牛郎如烈焰熊熊燃烧了起来，牛郎被施下烈焰诅咒，所触之物全部化为灰烬，前来迎接的喜鹊也无法避免，就在牛郎一筹莫展的时候，来了一头神牛，他带来了寒冰之术，解开了牛郎的烈焰诅咒，灰烬化的喜鹊也得救了，终于在七月七日这天，牛郎准时赴约，鹊桥之上与织女快乐的交谈着…………
