The Eating Enlightenment Journal is made for you to develop your awareness of the food on your plate. The exercise is as simple as following this one guideline: before each meal, journal about whatever thoughts, feelings and sensations are coming up for you in that moment.
Once you have an understanding of what’s going on inside of yourself, it becomes easier to understand how and why we often choose certain foods at the wrong times.
By giving mindful consideration to exactly when and how much food you consume every day – after writing down what’s happening in the present moment - you can not only begin healing ...
But ultimately find freedom, peace, and just being normal around food so you can be yourself, have great food moments with friends, and live your best life!
Features include:
- food and mood tracking
- eating and food history
- pin

Works really well for helping me keep track of what I'm feeling and reflecting on what I eat. Been doing good so far, though I haven't had any of my trigger foods lately, so we'll see how that goes LOL. If I had any complaints it would be that once you submit an entry you can't go back in and edit so you have to make another one. Overall, though, a good, solid app.

I really like the idea behind this app! I've only been using using a few days but this is a good way to practice being aware of your thoughts and emotions behind your relationship with food. One thing to note: I think I would be helpful to have the most recent journal entries shown at the top of the feed rather than my first one because I have to scroll quite a bit to get to my most recent entry.

I really like this app! I feel so validated that I can give more back story to what and why I'm eating something. Would love if we can edit date and time though because then I more accurately diary when I ate something.

Good and helpful, only issue is that there is no way to export entries, it would be good to be able to visualize easier along time and se the changes.
