Note for new WearOS watches (Galaxy7, Ultra, OnePlus Watch3)! Upgrades to Facer are on the way! Get a taste of what’s coming soon and try out a few faces! For these watches, our phone app has a curation of faces that when selected will direct you to download them individually on Google Play (there is no single “Facer” app for your watch yet). When you download these, they will appear in the list of faces on your watch.

Download & Install “Facer Companion for Samsung Watch” from the Samsung Galaxy App Store
Long press on your Samsung smartwatch and scroll to select “Facer” as your chosen watchface. That's it!

Fantastic free faces - but there is a catch. I am a long time user of Facer, first on a Samsung 4 classic and now a Samsung 6. The app works great on my watch and interfaces well with the Samsung Gear app on my Android phone. The number of customized faces available is impressive - all categorized in the app for you to choose. The catch is that the faces do affect the watch's resources. If you can live with the watch dying after a day or an extended delay for tap-to-pay then go for it.

Was great until it suddenly stopped detecting my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It says it wants to connect to the companion app on my watch, but it can't detect it, even when it's actually running, and a Facer watchface is being used (which it asks to do). The app on my phone & watch are both updated, and the watch is linked to my phone via bluetooth. Please don't give me the static "email us details" response, since I've already given all the details here.

It's OK. I like the idea and the convenience of having the option for so many watch faces in one app. I just wish they worked. The faces tend to load slowly and sometimes freezes my watch. When it didn't freeze, half the time, the faces don't load up correctly and are then unusable. This is also why I won't pay premium on it.

I've used this app for almost 5 years and never had an issue with my samsung galaxy watch. I recently upgraded to the galaxy 6 watch and have been plagued with nonstop issues. The face freezes, temp, heart rate, temp, etc often refuses to sync and require me to reinstall the app. I have finally reached the piont of having to look for an alternate app.

Not working. I downloaded a while ago for the free watches- worked great. Now that I decoded premium, I can not get faces to sync to watch at all. Not user friendly for those that aren't on top of the technology world. I'm going try a little longer and if nothing else, cancel. Watch faces are super cute just unable to get on watch. 🫤

So far so good. The app is basically a storefront for watch faces, as far as I can tell. I can't find a way to search or anything though, only see the highlighted or showcased select faces. Maybe those are the only ones supported by my watch? Idk. Anyway, here's my review for a free face from them. Cheers. :)

So, while I've tried to enjoy this app and what it has to offer, I've just grown frustrated with the buggy nonsense going on with it. Purchases disappearing. Faces constantly freezing up or the silly amount of effort it takes to get a face set on my watch in the first place. It's just too unreliable. After 5 years, I'm throwing in the towel. Maybe it's a compatibility issue with Samsung watches; I don't know, but I've run out of craps to give about it.

Can't install on Pixel Watch 3. Hopefully this gets updated ASAP. Facer also takes a not-insignificant amount of time to load at random times on Pixel watches. It seems as if it just crashes and when I go to look at my watch, I have to wait for the app to load to be able to use my watch. If I turn the screen off, it resets how long I have to wait for it to load. Not ideal.
