The 40 second auto-resign timer doesn't always work. I just had to wait over 9 minutes for an opponent to move before the game timed out. Also, it isn't enough time if the player has to leave the game temporarily. Today, I had to make a work phone call. I left the chess app for less than 40 seconds, yet my game still ended and I lost points. The player may need to answer a phone call, which has happened to me. 40-seconds is too short in these cases. Also, 40 seconds is far less than 15 minutes.

Why does a game about complex calculations come with ways to annoy your opponents in the middle of a game? The game has a cannon you can buy ammo for and shoot at your opponent. I don't want to play chess and get Jumpscared by an intercontinental ballistic missile. They've also got forced advertisements before every single match. If you want to play chess there are better apps

This game is decent. I think it could use some better involvement in UI and graphics, but it's chess, so it is what it is. The only thing Is that when I get ads to double down on items I've received, it starts to force download games and I can't stop it. It's horrible. I honestly would want an ad frre recompense for this. I'd even give it 5 stars if it wasn't for that.

The game isn't bad by any means, but I am not a fan in the least of the little things, such as if you blunder, it gives you an option to take back your last move and make another. 3 times per game as long as you have those items...im sorry, but that's not chess, nor is it a learning tool. Part of learning and playing is blundering a piece, or making an inaccurate move, and having your opponent punish you for it.

Honestly I like the idea of the app. But the amount of times this thing goes offline. Every time I move a piece it goes offline. I have good internet. I have other chess apps, it never happens. About 1 in 6 games I lose because of connection issues. I'm tired of trying. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. Besides losing games. How much time have I lost on my games because I'm spending 30 seconds 5 times a game just trying to restore the connection. I really wanted to like this app. But Im done

Seemingly "magically" reveals checkmate opportunities that weren't apparent to me before. It definitely provides an additional skill set to my chess game. Although I fully trust there will be more and more to learn from this app , I've been spending hours and hours mastering maneuvers of the "Sacrifice Class" ,at least that's what I like to call it : it illustrates the art of strategically losing pieces in order to accomplish what you ultimately play the game for --- to win. Mostly good... in my opinion it's the best chess app. But it needs a minor fixes. You should be able to report players who are purposely doing annoying things like starting a match and then letting the timer run for 15 minutes without making a move. Another thing is that two friends should be able to have either unlimited time or the easy Tempo setting. Lastly it is very often where you will gain a reward but nothing actually increases. I want to match right now and didn't even win a key

Seemed to work just fine, bought the no ads purchase, then suddenly it keeps saying it cannot connect, but I know I have an internet connection because it is the only app having this problem. It'd have a much higher rating if I could actually play the game. Edit: It works now... it has inconsistent servers, but that is much, much better than it outright not working, and it is a lovely app when it works.
