There is a reason for all the low ratings - the app simply DOES NOT WORK! It's a good app to see what comics and graphic novels are available at your library. But do yourself a favor and just go to the Library Pass website to read the content. It still may be slow but at least you get some response and can eventually read. You can't read on the app. Sometimes it takes minutes (yes, I said MINUTES) for a single page turn. Horrible app. Even with the constant updates the devs cannot make it work.

Great selection, and it's wonderful not to have to wait for an arbitrarily limited number of "copies" but lacking customiseability in both reading style and data management. The download function is very inconsistent and the app refuses to use mobile data, claiming no network is available unless specifically using wi-fi.

2.5 stars. Nice selection of titles and not having a credit system or wait times is nice. However. The interface is awkward. Pages can load slowly. Download speeds are terrible (especially compared to other library apps like Hoopla). I'm currently at the library and on their wifi. Downloaded a comic from Hoopla and it took less than 30 seconds. On the same device on the same wifi, a title from this app has been downloading for over 10 minutes and still has a ways to go.

The interface is incredibly clunky. You can only swipe to turn the page when fully-zoomed out, making reading a tedious chore. These interface problems have already been solved by every other ebook reader app over a decade ago, but the developers don't seem to be aware of this. I'm doubly annoyed because my council tax is paying for my city library's purchase of this comics collection.

The service itself and the collection available to users is fantastic. The actual application is barely usable. There are 0 usability settings and the buffering times are atrocious. Downloading appears to be entirely pointless as you're not able to access anything offline whether it's downloaded or not. For a free service it could be worse but there are far better alternatives.

Update! Nearly 1 year using app and it takes 35 minutes to download a comic and stuck on 90%, this is outrageous! Fix your app. Our library purchased comics plus, I'm trying out the app and I'm so disappointed. It's extremely slow, and a very poor user experience. I might actually enjoy the content if it wasn't so slow to load anything. This seriously needs to be fixed if we want our library customers using comics plus.

Unfortunately, I was not able to get this app to work at all. When I pressed "Search" it would not let me search up my school. I honestly found this disappointing, as I could see myself using an app like this a lot. I truly wish that they added more to the selection. If this gets fixed, maybe I'll start using the app again. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this app to any friends or family. It is a total waste of my AND your time. Thank you for reading.

The service that this app provides is phenomenal. It has a great, robust library of books that's different and complimentary to other public library apps I use. The app design and functionality is unfortunately janky as hell. It's to the point where recently the entire app has stopped working telling me "Network not found," and nothing I try has been able to get it to connect again. Sidenote: turns out the settings menu is not available offline, which seems a very bad call.
