I work in voice over. I have a clear, distinguishable voice that has no regional accent to speak of. I tried using this app just to take notes and some writing ideas and it is terrible. I can speak one slow syllable at a time and it doesn't get it correct (as in slow enough where I have to remember the next word), let alone if I speak anywhere near a normal speed. The idea of voice to speech is to be able to take notes on the go, or to dictate without writing to save time. Not eith this

I personally love this app. Everyone I queried about "voice to text" apps prior to trying one, said that they had defects and were disappointing. I have a slight speech impediment and mispronounce certain words, so I was pleasantly surprised when this app picked up EVERY word I uttered flawlessly and converted it to text. "Voice to Text" is phenomenal.

I really like this app very much it does so much better the standard ones that come with your phone.I don't understand how I can keep this app on my phone because it just keeps going back to my old apps, the standard ones that come with the phone. how do I make this my default do I make sure that I can keep this on the phone cuz there's something I'm not doing right obviously. I would like to know how to set up this app to be my only voice to text and to stop the old ones kicking this off .

EXCELLENT!!! It's the best Voice To Text App that I've ever used. It almost meets all of my needs in the preparation of the Daily Devotionals I do for distribution, except for the disadvantages of: 1) Automatically attaching the current date and time at the page head. 2) Not enough view of my work while editing/typing when the keyboard comes up on most occasions. 3) the page jumps to the bottom when cursor goes to the extreme left. Kindly FIX #2 & 3 in your update. CONGRATS Developers🎉👏🏽🍾🥂

Just trying out the app - and see both good and bad. So far, I can't find any user guides or help with using the app. Seems to assume all the on-screen options/icons are intuitive. I found this app by searching for this type of app, and ones that would work offline (for security/privacy concerns). Can't see a setting to make sure it IS working offline. Even a general web-search of this app, or the publisher, hasn't provided anything more on how to use this app, beyond what I could figure out by playing with it. Read another critical review saying he couldn't get it to do a "Return" (carriage return). I found that if you say "new line" QUICKLY, it will execute the command - but say it slowly, and it will type the words. Same for "new paragraph". I don't want to have to figure out how to use all the features by trial and error - or find I left the security/privacy barndoor open, because I couldn't find a help screen or user guide! On the upside, it captured my first dictations very well. Giving it only 1 star - for now. Would be happy to increase that, if more help with use and security settings is forthcoming..

Doesn't seem to have the option of changing languages and seeing what other languages are available despite the description saying so. I couldn't find a clear language section among the features. I tapped 'en', which I assumed meant English, it told me to wait, but nothing happens. If it's a glitch, it should be fixed and if that option is not actually available, the description is false advertising.

Picks up clear words. You can easily switch languages when recording. Saves your text where you left off and begins there when you open it. You can copy, email, text, your transcription very easily Excellent. Edit/addition: the language no longer changes...it is stuck on 'en' (English).

It's great because it autosaves and seems capable of accommodating a wide range of accents. It's also sensitive which is good because one does not need to shout to convert spoken words to text. However, may the developer add ability to format texts such as bold and italics? Additionally, the developer should add ability to number lists. In the current state, one dictates the content then looks for another app to format the resulting text.
