I'm using this in combination with the owl (DL), both of them subscription. This app does have its faults, but im really enjoying the flashcard style of memorizing the characters. It doesn't teach grammar or anything like that, but before you know it, you have a huge vocabulary to work with. I'm still only a couple weeks in on using Mochi, but so far, it's greatly improving my attempt to learn Mandarin. The price is also reasonable. Definitely worth trying the trial to see if you like it.

I think this app could be good, has a great amount of potential, but I already uninstalled it on the 4th day because the print is too small to read tone markers. 2, The voice is like a staccato whisper, toneless, which doesnt work well for learning a tonal language. 3, Mochi only gives two short lessons for free, the rest is locked. I've already been studying Chinese for 5 years, many other apps are better suited.

Seemed good early on, but a large part of the review section asks for but doesn't accept chinese or correct pinyin and there's no explanation why - which gives you an error message everytime and is not good for learning. Also I paid for the app only to turn it on today and discover it wiped my review data and has locked all the lessons. This is not a good app, especially since I paid to support it.

The animations are cute, the lessons seem okay, but it's not for free. I'd rather it had ads to watch (like other apps) instead of forcing people to pay. This way game devs could get money from them and everyone would be happy + the devs would get rewarded for their hard work. Additional disadvantage - FB Chinese learning groups are literally flooded with ridiculous recommendations of this app written clearly by someone associated with the app itself. Really, really annoying.

Can't login , I guess its a firebase error. Perhaps you have reached quota. And what's wierd is am tryna login but the error says - phone_registration_error (probably cause I already have account?)

Music, annoying. Pinyin is too small (can't see the tone mark clearly), as is the Chinese character on the flash card. A huge card, tiny writing. Why?
