Permission Description:
Location Permission:
The device uses BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) technology to connect. The app needs to use BLE scanning to find the device. Because BLE technology is also used in some location services, and Android wants to let users know that the app uses BLE scanning, it is possible to obtain the user's location information, so the app that requires BLE scanning must apply for the location permission.

Location Service:
Recently, we found that on some mobile phones, even with location permission, if the location service is not turned on, BLE scanning still does not work. So try to enable the location service on your phone if you have the similar issue.

I feel a reduced urge to take my own life using this, when compared to its' PC counterpart. It also, often, works. If you're using one of the SVMC controllers that is NOT a flaming qsmotors turd (turds have PAS + display), any change in configuration for the ebrake will disable your variable regen throttle. FIX IT QSMOTORS! The app also STILL requires GPS to be enabled to connect via bluetooth, despite the requirement being lifted in Android 10.

Nearly perfect! But lacks proper translation. For example the throttle amps is not specified correctly. It doesn't say if its "phase amps" or "Battery amps". I initially assumed it was measure in battery amps when In fact it is actually measured in phase amps. This resulted in the power delivery being sluggish when I wanted it to hit hard. There are other spelling errors like in the ebraking menu it says "wheel rmp" instead of "wheel rpm" etc. These errors can result in you setting it up wrong.

A Google user

Pairs via Bluetooth but no response from controller, as the orange 'not connected' bar just turns red and says 'restart', even after restarting app and/or controller many different times. I've tried the firmware update many times also and no difference :|

Won't connect with the controller via Bluetooth even though my phone can. No support available. Update: you have to turn on location on your phone to get it to work. A notification from the app telling you to do that would have been nice.

I've had a few of the Sabvoton controllers; 100amp, 150amp, and the 200amp, the Bluetooth doesn't work with any of them. I was able to set my parameters with a different App. However my 200amp would not communicate with anything. It sucks $400 on a controller with no re-gen brakes and unable to set parameters.

Works great just make sure you turn on location. All we need now is a dashboard app to show speed power and voltage. Also would be nice to have motor temperature settings good work!

As many mentioned before whenever I change my settings my throttle regeneration gets disabled. This is an annoying bug as I have to use my pc everytime to enable my throttle e-brake. Please fix this!
