I've been using this app for years to track my calories. It has been extremely helpful when I keep up with it. You can easily sync you steps with other tracking apps like Fitbit. If there isn't a food in the system you can easily manually enter it into your foods. The only downside I'm kinda bummed out about is that they put the barcode scanning behind a paywall when it used to be free. Bring that back without the subscription and I'll be a happy camper.

Completely lacking in features for the price. I used this for three days with a premium subscription and found it frustrating, but tolerable, until I tried Cronometer. For half the price, Cronometer is just better in every way. It doesn't have a bunch of recipe and workout suggestions, but if you don't care about that stuff, then you can get way more for your money by going elsewhere.

This used to be a great app. Now, the more helpful features that I've always used are behind a subscription. You used to be able to scan barcodes. You used to be able to sync Fitbit with My Fitness Pal and see how your exercises affected your daily totals. Now, it's pretty much a basic, food calorie calculator. Please b ring back barcodes and daily sync to the free level.

Sync functionality with the web app and with Samsung Health is TERRIBLE. After opening the app, it takes a couple of minutes for it to arrive at the right number. In the meantime, "exercise calories" will be a random value between 0 and 2x the correct value. Anything logged on the web will be missing too. The app offers widgets too, which are useless, because they only update if you open the app. Close the app too soon (see above) and you'll be stuck on a random number. Good database otherwise.

MyFitnessPal will NOT connect easily if you change phones. Customer service is absolutely horrible and does not know their own product. Save yourself the hassle and find a different app. That's what I'm looking into now. I have been working with the help desk for over two weeks, who say they cannot see the connection to my new phone. I have provided screenshots showing my side.

Update 11/04/24: Followed the directions on the link provided, and it still got the "Could not update your custom goals at this time" message. It won't let you update your calories goal. Not sure if it's because their holding your choices hostage and trying to force premium memebership on us or if it's a bug. So many features that used to be free are behind a pay wall now, but there are other apps out there that can help you reach your goals. This one may not be one of them.

Works reasonably well for plotting out meals and how they will effect your macros. But the app frequently crashes and you have to check nutritional info on entries carefully, as there are often multiple entries with most incorrect. Then lately, it has me locked out of being able to adjust my macros and caloric intake. Then it frequently bugs you about paying for premium, but the issues are annoying enough without paying for it.

This was working really well and I was loving it. Was considering upgrading to the subscription. The app was getting info on steps and calories burned from my fitbit. Which really helped me be really honest about calories I was taking in vs burning. But now my steps are some totally random number and no info on calories burned. Can't be confident it would be better if subscribed. Tried the general fixes, but hasn't worked. So now a bit disappointed.
