The lack of a main menu is quite challenging but I've gotten used to it. The free camera controls are a bit janky and hard to use so please try making it a bit more easier. Also, the lack of trains from the main game makes it less fun to play. Overall the graphics are great but the horns & bells may be inaccurate (including the cab interiors and whatnot) I am a huge Amtrak fan so please add a few more railcars or locomotives for that. (Like at least a few more liveries for the P32-8bwh)

An honest and in-depth review about Trainz 3. Trains: The train are very realistic and have great physics. It also includes paid trains that also look great. However, at times they may be very buggy and glitchy and maybe even crash your game. World/maps: Honestly the best mobile game maps I've seen in a while, very detailed and simply very realistic. Conclusion: A very, very good train game for mobile devices. Although it may be very glitchy and buggy. I definitely reccomend this game.

Fantastic game! Could not put it down... But, I have 2 requests for the devs. Could you make a better interface for the turntable? I had a really hard time getting steam locos turned around. Also, I have a small glitch where, occasionally, I get locked out of control of my locomotive when I stop at a station. This doesn't happen that regularly. But, it's enough for me to notice. Otherwise, a phenomenal game. The maps are big, and pretty well planned. It's a terrific successor to the last game.

Pretty good! I like the graphics and the large assortment of steam locomotives akin to Trainz Simulator 2 (Or Trainz Driver 2, not sure). The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because every once in awhile, when I open the app it just freezes on the Trainz Simulator 3 logo. I can fix this by deleting the app and downloading it again, but it's just that every once in awhile it happens. Doesn't stop me from playing this game though! I hope this can be fixed soon.

App crashed twice before even getting on the game. Later crashed during first task. Finally got the third task done and now when I go on game, it shows a train and I can move camera angle, but nothing else. Can't drive train, can't go to menu, nothing. Looks so good but I'm very disappointed. Update: Un-installed and re-installed twice and hasn't crashed since. Menu should be simplified. Accidentally hired driver and had hard time getting out of that and finding tutorials. Upgrading to 3 stars.

I do understand that the routes are created by separate developers. However, one thing that gripes me is I'll pay for a route, download it, and play it, then it turns out to not be that great. I recently bought the horseshoe curve map, and it features Altoona Yard and Cresson. You can't do no real work in the Altoona yard, and the industries are not that interactive. I've spent a lot of money here. The only real map you can play on is Kickstarter Country 2, and it gets old after a while.

I gotta be honest, the app itself is pretty solid save for some bugs and glitches that are annoying but manageable. However, having recently downloading this game to my Galaxy S23 after losing my iPad, my main concern is how hot my phone gets after only just a few minutes of play time which is something I've not experienced playing on a tablet. I really love this game but a majority of the time, I'm almost terrified to make a long run out of fear that I might fry my phone. Any workarounds?

I will admit, this is quite a nice game. The graphics are decent, the layouts look nice, and there is a lot to do in the sessions. But unfortunately, I paid for some add-ons of steam locomotives, and they haven't registered as being purchased. So the game has practically taken my money. Absolute bobar.
