Excellent customer service. When they upgraded the app they changed things around. I made a couple of suggestions and they were implemented within hours. The fastest response I've ever seen or heard of. Of course I probably wasn't the only one complaining, but still the changes were made within a day of the upgrade. Normally I'm with the mentality of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I hated the upgrade at first but after the tweeks they and using it, I'm starting to like it better than before.

RedHotPawn is one of the very best venues to play correspondence chess with other people throughout the world. Their newly updated app is nearly perfect with a very impressive array of features. And so far I think it's safe to say that it's bug free. Also I should mention that the well designed interface is aesthetically pleasant to look at and work with.

When it works, it's brilliant. Very often i get the message"Red Hot Pawn Chess keeps stopping", and I can't play my games. Its frustrating and there seems to be no solution. Occasionally a device restart solves the issue, buy not every time. Update: After many attempts, and trying the beta app, the problem still persists, and have now uninstalled the app and given up. Which is a real shame. Maybe the issue is compatibility with my android OxygenOS 9. Feeback from other users would be helpful.

Nice app. I have noticed only three problems: 1) It seems to allow making illegal moves. If these can be sent also, one may lose a game. 2) In the case of a long press, the piece is activated on the analysis board. I have managed to eliminate the piece from the board without being able to put it back. Then, one must go back. 3) Backwards button on the analysis board does not take a move back but leads to the beginning of the variation. Everything else is comfortable and fine!

I've used RedHotPawn for 10+ years and this app is a great extension from the website. Controls are easy to use, plenty of different options for customization of appearance, and choices for how long you want to allow on moves so you can partner with a player who plays at a similar pace. I like being to play anywhere and you can make friends chatting through the message system.

Please add the 3D piece graphics from the website. (Your website used to have 3D graphics for the chess pieces, despite your reply) Recently your app stopped supporting the Samsung Galaxy E which according to the sales staff is still the latest Samsung Tablet, now I am struggling along on a phone. I am very happy with apps using advertising till the advertising becomes intrusive, where it plays a video clip and or makes sound. The video clip can still be mostly tolerated, but sound is a no no!

love playing chess here. you can set the timeouts to adapt to your play style, for instance I can't be in it all the time but don't want to wait forever, so I can set more of a sometime today you need to play.

I am using 3 Android devices. Each time when I open this app, I got the error "Invalid Credentials". After, I entered my password, It is working fine. Getting this error message daily in all my devices. It Sucks. It logs me out automatically from first device when i login from other device.
