New update made the app look a tad bit better. The ability for the app to connect, and stay connected, to anything running is still abysmal and arguably even worse with the update in March 2025. If that bug gets fixed, then this is 4 stars. Without the fix, it is borderline useless.

See update below: The app needs significant improvement in maintaining a stable Wi-Fi connection and automatically reconnecting when Wi-Fi is lost. Without this functionality, the app is not practical for many users. I have the 3600 set up remotely and rely on it for monitoring when I'm away. Update: After switching to a Google WiFi System Router Replacement for Whole Home Coverage, my connection has been stable!

As others have mentioned, you can't fully connect unless nearby. When far away, I found that It does display correct info, it's just behind an unavoidable "connection unsuccessful" warning. After closing the warning it returns you to the home screen, giving you about 1 second to see the device status. What I need is a trigger for DC input threshold. Eg: turn on AC inverter when DC is over 500 watts coming in turn off when under 100 watts.

Very poor app. Constantly tries to force me to "log in" when I'm camping, or it won't let me access the app to control powerstation. Connectivity is very spotty, it often will not discover the e1500LFP and I have to "add device". It just never works seamlessly. When you update settings in the app, then leave the screen, the settings have not changed when you go back to that screen. But there is a 50% chance they actually HAVE changed on the device, and 20 min later if you check, they show.

App updated October 1, 2024. Still terrible. After finally getting connected via WiFi (not easy) I am able to connect to the E1500LFP. Unfortunately the app displays the battery at 100% even when it's not. Front screen on E1500LPG shows 70% and 600w draw. App shows 100% battery and no draw. The worst app experience of any product I own. Can't you "copy" the Anker app? At least it works!

It's bad: The range is bad so anyone able to add the device but it seems usually offline, bring it closer to router. It only runs on 2.4GHz which is pretty IoT standard. I only once got AC/DC status and otherwise it just shows DC on AC off. Voltage and Hz reading will tell you the truth for AC status. Battery status is reliable. Changing voltage and Hz from app always seems to fail so I guess I'm glad it is already correct. They should just release code and let home assistant community dev it.

If I had known this app was so basic, hard to understand, contains untranslated Chinese menu options, and Chinese character restrictions I would not have bought the device. I hope they improve it soon as it is a major negative.

Took way too long to set up an account. Apparently it's a separate account from the Pecron website. Why? The app also refuses to pair with the power station. Nothing shows up in the app even when it's in pairing mode.
