EPIC is an application which detects seizure from muscular activity of patients, as during epileptic seizure a peculiar muscular activity is observed which mean it also have enough information to determine the type and intensity level of seizure. It includes a cost effective wearable muscle band that captures Surface Electromyography (sEMG) signals generated by muscles. Based on the EMG signals, application uses signal processing and machine learning algorithms which helps in detecting the epilepsy seizure and their intensity level. Whenever application detects any seizure the wearable band notifies the assisting mobile application which sends a notification to the nominated caregivers. Patient can also control as to who gets notification through the assistive application. The notification contains the location of the patient and the seizure info. This is also integrated with our dynamic web application, this allows patient and doctors to graphically visualize seizures (its intensity, duration etc) and other medical information for future treatment.
