This tool launches several Android Services that continue to calculate SHA1 value of 2MB buffer that is filled by random data. You can control how many Android Services are launched by pushing button. Basically I think that CPU load is highest when you launch number of services as same as the number of the CPU Core.

It seems this tool is too hevy. According to user feedback, several devices were broken. So please use this app carefully. But this tool is using just MessageDigest#update() and MessageDigest#digest().
https://developer.android.com/reference/java/security/MessageDigest#update(byte[])
https://developer.android.com/reference/java/security/MessageDigest#digest()
So if the device is broken, it is device's problem because device must ensure that all Android APIs work properly. And I think you can ask manufacture for repair.

good for overloading a CPU. caused all CPU cycles to be used and required a hard restart. drained at least 50J from the battery. I could see how this may damage some hardware. There should definitely be a feature that is enabled by default that limits CPU usage to about 95%, which opens a confirmation dialog if changed. An interesting thing I noticed was that the artificial load does not generate similar electrical noise to a normal process.

I needed to find a way to easily and quickly drain my battery so that I could safely replace the battery in my phone. This app did the trick, and was also helpful for calibrating the new battery. I'm not sure of any other use for this app, but it was definitely helpful for my battery replacement.

Using it for my samsung right now to heat it up, which solves the giant black bar problem my phone has. Honestly very good at doing that, and only takes like 3 minutes at MOST, and usually only takes like a minute on the regular. Would recommend for others struggling with this problem

1.0.2 > “Hi, I installed your app on my device, but it doesn’t open. When I tap to launch, it immediately closes and returns to the home screen. Android version: 11 12 13 14

this app is amazing, You can literally set it up to destroy someone's phone because you can have it be booted up on start. So you immediately make their phone be screwed for the rest of time in a few seconds. The only way to fix it is to get a new phone. Or unless you reset the hardware on a computer. Apple users are safe sadly. Still 5 stars from me.

Not even overheated, 36 temperature, while running all processes my device is s9plus, ofc such fake things can't make flagships & modern socs damaged. Cpu kinda understands it's fake value so doesn't take much stress for processing it, really low end devices can only be damaged by this app.

On my Moto Z2 Force it loads the SOC fully. It gets very warm continuously. Exactly as described. Maybe add a feature to time how long it takes to do a loop for basic benchmarking for kicks and grins..
