Terrible app. Files are never intuitively where I think they should be, bad organizer. Maybe it's just me. But, when I click open Google Files or Microsoft 365 ... boom 💥 My file is right on top, and I have the option from there to move it. With Samsung, first I spend too much time looking and then I can move it. Don’t get me wrong, I love Samsung! But this app needs some love.

Although once my go-to file management app, the recent changes have made it a rather bad experience. Firstly, the copy/move feature is just ruined in two ways: for one, you get a pop-up of the root to navigate to the destination rather than staying where you were, which is really bothering to me; plus, the ability to search to quickly find the pasting location is now a thing of the past! Secondly, the app crashing while checking a folder's Details is just too much to tolerate! Hoping for a fix!

The last update is terribly unfriendly if you have nested folders. Hitting the move or copy button opens a new window to the root: if you're copying to a subfolder, for example, you have to browse back down the tree to get back to where you were. Temporary fix: go to the App settings for My Files (long-press the icon and press the Info button, or go to Settings > Apps > My Files), hit the three dots in the upper right, then hit Uninstall Updates.

Like the other reviews say, the update to moving files ruins the app. Choosing files then going through all my folders just to move them one folder deeper is terrible. And if you forgot a file you'll have to do it all over again. Even dragging files to a folder isn't a great workaround as it copies them. The app otherwise works fairly well, which is a shame. Edit: Lowering my rating from 2 to 1. It's been months since the complaints about this started with no changes.

It has become a must that "ftp server" becomes a standard feature in a file manager application today. Have you ever thought about how troublesome it is to send files between PC and Android using type-C to type-C USB? You only gave us that kind of USB but doesn't provide another option to transfer files between PC & your product, this is really annoying.

It is one of the best server access apps I have ever used. UPDATE It has been two weeks now. As of 26 Dec 2024, I still can not access my files on my server. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and it still does not work. The app stopped working after the last Android OS update. The app needs to be updated to operate with the operating system.

The latest update changed the move functionality to be very frustrating. I can't use favorites folders or search. It used to be great app, and this change ruined the experience for me! And there is no way to to go back to the previous version of the app that was perfect. Additionaly, after moving the files, target fokd r was opened and there was a red dot indicating what files just moved that was very helpful. Now there is no indication and it is very hard to locate the moved files.

LATEST UPDATE - MAJOR FAIL! The new pop-up when copying/moving files is inconvenient and time consuming. This makes it difficult if you have quite a few files you are moving and searching for the correct folders to put them in. The ability to search inside the files has been left out too. You can't even use the back button or the split screen during this copy/move feature because it cancels out the process. So much for using a smartphone to MOVE forward into the future, it's back to a computer!
