Terrible. Tried for 30mins to connect to the controller with my phone and this app, both automatically and manually, and could NOT get it to do anything. Flipping it to IR mode to use the remote with the controller and clicking Red doesn't give me red. Same with green and blue. I can only assume I need the controller connected to the app to fix this...but I can't. I'm returning all of it and deleting this app from my phone.

In the app, I get to the screen that says, "Press and hold the device switch button until the LED strip flashes..." When I connect power to the controller (SP511E), all the LEDs immediately come on with a sort-of rainbow along its length. "Press and hold the button" does nothing. Perhaps my controller has a hardware problem. Maybe I need to just toss the controller and start over? What communication protocol is used between the app and the controller?

I use this for all of my led strips. Set up can be wonky sometimes, but it always works after a few tries, if not at first. My only gripe with this app is that you can't log into it on multiple devices. Makes it impossible for more than one person in a home to use the app. Also, it would be nice if the app had rooms you could group the lights into so you can control them all at the same time. It can be done on Google Home, but those apps don't let you use different led patterns.

It killed my SP511e controller! The controler worked gine with the IR remote, and when I paired it with wifi from this app, it became unresponsive and there is nothing I can do. It doesn't work even with the remote, even the buttons on the receiver are not working anymore. I know it sounds crazy, but I think the controller died after using this app!

Should be zero stars. Have been trying for 30 minutes to create an account with no success. Still haven't received a text code in the past 24 hours after multiple attempts. App is just as much junk as the the controller. The white light button is yellow, blue is green and green is blue. Red is closer to purple. It sucks.

Setup was super quick and easy, app works flawlessly and controls the lights well. Doesnt seem to be anyway to make your own lighting pattern? Would highly request a gradient mode, pick to colours and fade in the middle. Share a desk with the other half and she wants a different colour.. It seems this isnt possible at current.

Can no longer connect controller to app! I recently got a new phone. After installing the FairyNest app, I can no longer connect my controller to the app. My lights are stuck on the last function from my old phone. Tried auto connecting, tried manually connecting, nothing works. My lights are not controllable anymore! 🤯😡😤

Below average at best. Device all of a sudden disappeared from the app and can't re-add. Little to no usable instructions or overall information. Zero customer service resources dedicated to resolving any issues. Once they have your money, they don't care what happens afterward.
