The app itself is great. It feels a lot more used friendly and relaxing than other theory test apps. The only issue is the price. The app is worth £4.99 as a one of purchase, but they've since changed the pricing to a monthly subscription. So if your test date is more than a month away, or you forget to cancel, you'll end up spending a lot more money than the app is worth.

I passed first time with 45/50 on the multiple choice questions, and the hazard perception became second nature to me after using this app. Its also nice to be taught by a person who I grew up with watching on TV, and who is why I love cars now. There are some issues with a couple of the videos, where they will freeze and will not play. However If you reinstall the app and log back in it resets the random order of the videos in the training so it wasn't too much of an issue.

the tutorials are clear, simple, and all-encompassing. I almost did a perfect score on both parts of the theory tests, which I finished in less than 15 minutes, all thanks to this app... and I only really studied for a few days amidst tight work schedules. I highly recommend this app; if you want to pass easy and confidently.

Passed using just this app. Very helpful on the multiple choice. Hazard perception is a bit more iffy, but still good enough that it's a reliable learning material. When reviewing the clip, when the voiceover tells you to tap and when you actually have to tap are different; usually it's later than you're told. Especially noteworthy on the clip with the lorry wobbling. Thanks James. Hope you enjoyed your fiver from me mate. It might get you a pint nowadays, if you're lucky.

The app is well organised, easy to use, and very interactive. However, it's missing a few features for example, once you do the hazard perception mock exam you cannot review the clips and check how you achieved your score and what you missed, this prevents you from learning anything. This app could also allow you to choose if you want audio or not, because the first time I got an achievement I almost got a heart attack.

Just subscribed and now it's impossible to use the app without turning on notifications. I click "skip notifications and get started", then "get started" on the next page, and it gives me a popup saying i need to turn on notifications. Can enable, start using the app, then disable. Useful app too.

Amazing app. Thought it was a gimmick at first with James May presenting it but I was quickly proved wrong. The app is very well thought out, with plenty of questions and hazard perception videos to practice on. Thank you James May, I was able to pass today first try! I would recommend the premium subscription to anyone, as you'll probably end up paying the same amount on a subscription than you would by buying a copy of the highway code.

Paid for the app a year ago. Now I can't use it till I subscribe?? Can't even change my due test date till I subscribe?? Taking the piss!. , I've contacted the makers of the app. And still haven't sorted it yet. Received two emails, one telling me to clear my cache?update 19th May. Still no help forthcoming, the developers keep sending the same email =reset my phone. Update. Fri 23rd may 2025. Still no help forthcoming. They've made no contact to help other than generic emails. Thieves.
