I remember trying to play DS years prior but all emulators back then, even the highly rated ones, were still laggy and buggy but this one in 2025, FINALLY the ONLY one that lets me play smoothly. I can now play any games I like in GBA and DS without lag. the only issue I found so far was 1 game was in the wrong orientation and no matter what I tried, it won't reorient whether the layout was left/right or top/bottom but kudos still, to the developers. pls allow us more customization for buttons

ads are atrocious. long. constant. and absolutely tedious. the ads are excessive. you have to wait for an ad to play. then wait for a skip button to load only to be redirected to another pop-up ad to wait for an "X" button to load. these ads are not necessary for an emulator app that is used to play OFFLINE games from the 90's. regardless of how you try to justify it by saying you need it to keep it up or something.

Very simple, easy to use emulator.Ads are not intrusive. Still a couple of problems hence 3/5 stars. Can't use multiple buttons (most phones don't support multitouch screens) at the same time, which can be important for certain games like Mortal Kombat (ex. Scorpion's finishing move is holding block while tapping UP UP). Maybe include a "lock" button similar to ScummVM's that allows you to use two or more buttons? Also Save State only works during the game session. States don't load at later time

My only problem is the controls. They're barely transparent and there's no option to change that, which makes it difficult to go hard on some Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Setting the buttons up is weird too, because it'll resize a button if I'm not moving it for a single second. The D-Pad is terrible, the non-diagonal parts are so thin that I almost always go diagonal, which, again, makes it rather difficult to go ham on Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, separated arrows would be better.

Back in 2023, this app was different from I remember, as of now, this is my favorite emulator to ever exist, the menu is so easy to navigate, you can change filters on the fly, the new controller design is so sleek and a lot less distracting compared to the old one, and the ads I complained about? I don't mind them now that this app is so full of polish, it wasn't bad before, but it's better now, my only request is support for Sega CD

Customasible gamepad is brilliant. I'm perfectly aware this is ad-supported, but the forced 30-60 second video ads that appears some times before I even load a ROM prevents me from trying this app. How am I supposed to know if I like it before I buy it if I hardly can play any ROMs? - - And a "bug" report at the same time: None of the save states has a name or date stamp and are completely blank, so I have no idea which one to load, or if I will accidentally overwrite an earlier savegame.

It works okay and looks nice and having both gen and sms systems are nice. No fastforward button. Menu bar should be hid when you start a game by default. Needs UI buttons for quicksaving and quickloading instead of having to use the menu bar. The main menu keeps switching back to portrait mode. Minus a star for 5 star incentive begging bs.

Update: The creators of the emulator responded to my review about how to fix the problem I was having. The fix worked and I was bale to play again, but I have to re do it every time I start the game, which is a little inconvenient. I used this to play Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and then the emulator was updated. Now, I can no longer move and jump at the same time or spindash, which kind of makes the game unplayable. Assuming this gets fixed, I would rate it better.
